It’s a little vague/confusing in the first season (episode 4) but I’m fairly certain that’s exactly what’s happening

2023-11-13 01:36:35 +0000 UTCThe parasite originally took over that astronaut back when they were still on mars in season 1, one of the martians escaped on the space shuttle and is pretending to be that guy back on earth. The ship we see at the end of this episode is the original guy with the parasite controlling him likely headed to earth (I haven’t read the comics so I’m assuming there a bit). I would imagine the Martian will have to confront them and *try* to save earth since he’s trying to be a superhero now, no idea how that’ll go lol
