Kurapika's residual NEN would attack Chrollo (remember in heaven's arena they say you can only defend nen with nen) and since Chrollo can't use NEN. Even Chrollo would die from that. And the line about removing other people's nen. It's saying that there are nen-users out there that can remove the chains that are restriction Chrollo.
