IMPORTANT - NEW BILLING SYSTEM

Patreon has recently introduced a new optional (for now at least) billing system.

First thing first, this applies ONLY to NEW Patrons, old patrons won't be affected.

With this new system, New patrons are charged when they join and then monthly on that same date, instead of on the first of each month.

For example, if you pledge on the 15th on october, you'll get charged instantly (like it is now) and then the next charge will be on the 15th of the next month etc, instead of the first.

Patrons will see their next charge date at checkout and in their Active Memberships tab.

Again, Nothing changes for your existing patrons. They’re still charged on the first of each month.

The change is PERMANENT , there's no way back once it's turned on.

Now that the explanation is over, my little thought about it:

In my opinion, things will only be more chaotic,

since patrons will have to take notice of multiple payments throughout the month if they pledge different creators, instead of the usual recurring charge at the start of the month;

the same goes for creators.

But since it's a major change, I'm going to set up a poll for it eitherway.

So this poll will affect Only potential patrons, but existing ones are welcome to cast their vote nonetheless.

I'd also like to hear everyone's opinion on the matter if possible, so feel free to comment below.
