Regarding Alluka : either way, she is a "she". I've read a lot of explanations online and here's a summary (no spoilers) : - she is a transgender girl (in some official guide, it is said that the Zoldycks had 5 boys) and Killua is the only one respecting her by using the proper pronouns ; it's not far-fetched considering the author likes to portray characters that are boys but look like girls (Kalluto or even Kurapika), but since Killua is calling her "she" and "sister", it could be deeper than just "a boy looking like a girl" and imply "transgender" - it's just a mistranslation / mistake (in the manga and in the TV series, it is said that the Zoldyck have 5 siblings, not just boys) - she is a girl but since she is not considered to be a part of the family (hence what Silva said), they disrespect her and call her a boy or even 'something' + being a boy is seen as more noble (the Zoldycks are an old-fashioned and traditional family ruled by powerful men) - they refer to her as a "he" because of her nen ability (which is a tiny bit """similar""" to schizophrenia) and only see her through that nen ability (Nanika/Something), except for Killua who sees her for who she really is (Alluka/A human being). You guys understood something like that as well. Just so you know, the only exact information that we got is when Killua literally says that she is a girl. Thus, no matter what justification or interpretation you choose, Alluka is a "she". I refer to her as "she" and as "Killua's sister". You are right to go with whatever Killua is calling her, we trust him as a friend ahaha. <3 Something similar happened with Pitou, apparently in the manga, she is not a "she" but a "they" or an "it". The pronouns used were always neutral + she doesn't have any breasts in the manga whereas in the animé, they clearly gave her boobs, for some reason, which made a lot of manga readers confused.

2024-07-22 02:19:19 +0000 UTCThe number of people dying after 4 rejections to Alluka’s demands is proportional to the original wish = the bigger the wish, the bigger the demands, the more people die if the demands are not fullfilled. To summarize what Spider said : • Initial incident = Killua asked "Fly me high" (to "turn her eyes white again") [DIFFICULTY LEVEL : VERY EASY] = fullfilled by Alluka = Alluka asked Mitsuba the butler to "fly high" too ✖ Mitsuba said "No" 4 times (the mom told her to do that) → Mitsuba died + the person she loved the most (another butler who was her lover) = 2 people • 1st major incident = Milluki asked "Kill this guy" [DIFFICULTY LEVEL : MODERATE] = fullfilled by Alluka = Alluka asked someone something (we don't know) ✖ this person said "No" 4 times → That person died + the person they loved the most + the people they spend the most time with = 13 people • 2nd major incident = Yasuha the butler asked "Make me a millionaire" [DIFFICULTY LEVEL : HARD] = fullfilled by Alluka = Alluka asked Kasuga the butler to give her her brain etc. ✖ Kasuga said "No" 4 times → Kasuga died + the person she loved the most + the people she spent the most time with (at the orphanage etc) = 67 people According to Illumi : 3rd major incident = Killua will ask someone to ask Alluka to "Heal Gon" [DIFFICULTY LEVEL : EXTRA HARD HELP ME GOD] = will be fullfilled by Alluka = then, Alluka will ask Killua to give something huge (i.e. "give me the Planet Earth, or the Sun" (no spoilers)) ✖ will not be fullfilled because impossible so Killua will do his best but fail halfway and say "No" at some point → Killua will die + the person he loves the most (Gon according to Hisoka) + the people he spent the most time with (the Zoldycks, the Hunters, the Phantom Troupe, the Players in Greed Island, etc) = around 10,000 people. Illumi doesn’t want to die. So he wants to kill Alluka to avoid any bad consequences. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Steve said : - 2 people dying = the person saying "No" + the person they love the most - More than 2 people dying = the person saying "No" + the person they love the most + the people they spend the most time with (regardless of their feelings). Illumi mentioned Kasuga's mother because he said that despite the fact that Kasuga loved her a lot, Kasuga's mother SURVIVED. Why ? Because Kasuga loved someone more than her mother (so the 1st person to die after Kasuga herself) + Kasuga did not spend time with her mother at all (Kasuga was at an orphanage). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also, since the demands are proportional to the original wish, before meeting Alluka, Killua asked his father "what was the last wish". Silva answered that Milluki asked for the best computer. Then Killua said something like "oh that shouldn't be too big". Request = Milluki asked "Give me the latest computer available" [DIFFICULTY LEVEL = EASY - MODERATE] = fullfilled by Alluka = Alluka asks Tsubone the butler to give her her nails ✓ Tsubone says "Yes" and has to accept 3 times to be good. I'm not too sure about that one but that's how I understood the scene. Because (you've finished the show so I guess I can say it) technically, when Alluka asked Killua to "die" and when Killua asked Nanika to flee their house, that didn't count as requests/demands. So, someone still had to pay for Milluki's computer and my guess is that it is Tsubone. I may be wrong. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- According to Milluki : 3 requests = YES = Wish ❤️ 4 requests = at least 1 is NO = Death ☠️ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those are the rules as explained (no spoilers). Hope it'll help ! I know that you've just finished the show and Spider has already explained everything. :) It can be a little bit tricky to understand everything all at once, especially when so much information is given that fast and that you have to react to it right away without going back to it.

2024-07-21 01:55:53 +0000 UTCIf it were as obvious as you seem to think we would’ve picked up on it sooner, you’ve seen the show numerous times, nobody picks up every detail on the first watch, you’re just flat out lying if you say you did. He left a paragraph because that’s a lot of confusing details lol has nothing to do with effort, you want us to sit and stare at the screen in utter silence? I interject because I’ve already read the subtitles and then speaking out my confusion. You’re more than welcome to leave if you find it unenjoyable..

2024-07-21 00:35:44 +0000 UTCI've never seen a group of reactors this confused as to whats going on this deep in the show. Half of the commentary is John injecting doubt into whats going on .... WHILE its going on or being explained. When half of your thoughts on the episode are questions that are answered in-series or doubting the fact-of-matters its just kind of unenjoyable. Thats why the dude above me has to leave an essay to feel like you guys "got it". You guys are genuine reactors, ill give you that. Its just a little effort would be so much appreciated.

2024-07-20 23:39:05 +0000 UTCtens of thousands of lives, because that would be the equivalent exchange for the level of difficulty of undoing Gon's Restriction and Covenant The first request was not granted after a simple wish - Two Deaths The second request was a not fulfillable request to Kasuga after a wish that required a much stronger use of Nanikas power - 67 people died Excluding Milluki's shenanigans, the patterns there. The request following Nanika reaching into the matrix to somehow pull out a solution to heal gon would hypothetically have such severe consequences that the request would NOT in any way be fulfillable and the scale of the cost would multiply so much that the equivalent cost would be 10,000+ lives, according to Illumi's estimation of scale And the the order of how people dies STARTS with the person you love the most, and after the first person the sequence becomes the people you've spent the most time with/around. So if we assume it's Killua who is the catalyst in question - All of the zoldycks, butlers, hunters, examiners, troupe members, zushi and wing, greed island participants, Mito and grandma, hisoka, etc all get packed up
