Here I show how to make a fairly quick and easy gold that works on most miniatures. I also talk a little about color theory on metallic paints, the issues with their high reflections and how to work with it.

Awesome to hear that!:) I would go for greens or blues in that case to sepparate the gold more from the red. if it were nmm almost the same but more of a darker greytone in some of those hues. green contrasts best to red.

2021-01-25 11:29:18 +0000 UTCI've just been binging all of your tutorials. I love them, and I love your painting style. I'm planning to paint an army of blood angels based on your tech marine red. I'm not quite sure whether to go TMM or NMM, but if I were to go TMM gold, would you recommend mixing in a contrast colour that isnt' red into it, as the armour of blood angels will be red? Thanks so much!
