2021-05-24 20:50:38 +0000 UTCDefs need to watch itaewon class: it’s got good characters and it seems like something y’all might like :) Legend of The Blue Sea is also rlly good- it’s about a mermaid and a man so it’s more on the romance side but it’s still funny and has good plots and mysteries (also the characters are good lol) The Penthouse- I haven’t started it yet lmao but I’ve got hopes 🤣 Anddd ofc Hwarang- you guys will get to see ‘V’s acting and it’s a good drama, even though I started it because of V I like the actual drama and plot/story if it,was real good :)

2021-05-19 11:56:26 +0000 UTCThe drama tries to make it obvious but the main girl does have antisocial personality disorder, which is when you have an inflated sense of self (shown in the extravagant way she dresses, and her throne in the meeting rooms etc), are narcissistic, and can't pick up on regular social cues, hence why she says/does whatever she wants without being bothered by others reactions. It can develop when hildren go through intense trauma, which in her case was her dad trying to kill her/choke her when she was a kid which they showed a lot in the flashbacks. Pretty sure the main guy knew she had antisocial personality disorder since like the 2nd episode since her symptoms are so obvious and he's worked at different mental hospitals.

Itaewon Class is the most similar to It's Okay to Not be Okay, so if you have withdrawals after you finish it, I recommend watching this one after. It's pretty lighthearted and fun. Sweet Home is a psychological horror with monsters, but it has some funny moments, it's very suspensful. I didn't find it that scary, other than when I was fearing for main cast's lives. Save Me and Strangers from Hell are both very dark and depressing dealing with a bunch of messed up stuff. They have the bare minimum of comedic relief and romance, close to none. Strangers from Hell especially - its a psychological horror, creepy as hell and will always keep you on edge.

It's obvi more complex than that and gets super dark but again no spoilers. The lead in Save me is played by the same actress who plays ko munyeong in it's okay to not be okay but the characters are EXTREMELY different from one another. Really shows how good of an actress she is. 10/10 would highly recommend.

It fits the description - Sleep paralysis is a feeling of being conscious but unable to move. It occurs when a person passes between stages of wakefulness and sleep. During these transitions, you may be unable to move or speak for a few seconds up to a few minutes. The sleep demon is actually a hallucination linked to sleep paralysis, which occurs when a person is jolted awake in the middle of the REM phase of sleep associated with dreaming. You wake up but your brain is still dreaming — and it's projecting your nightmares into the real world.
