Making the Top 100 Games Series.

I started work on this god damn series in June. JUNE.
I thought this would be a fun thing to make. A video on the top 100 games of all time. Easy, simple and nice and fun. First I needed to come up with the games. It took months.
Turns out, there are a lot of games.
First I had to come up with some judging rules. Ambition, quality, how it's held up etc etc. Once I had some rules that gave all games a fair shot I started to rank them.
I gathered a list of games that I thought had a shot at the top 100 (mostly using metacritic set to "all games.") I had to take a step back. There were 350 games on an excel spreadsheet. After another few weeks that was down to 178. A while later it was 136. Then 108. Then 100.
The reason it took so long was simple. I had to play the damn things. I wanted to be sure that I wasn't remembering wrong and that involved booting up the games and having a play. As I sorted the top 100 I started playing some to completion. That was the fun bit. It just took time.
The next step was to arragne them. This involved contancting dark spirits and rolling dice. I think so anyway, it's been a while since this step.
Then, I had my list! Time to record! It took 11 hours to record the whole series. Many, many takes before I got everything right. Then the simple task of getting 100 video clips, 100 pieces of music and 100 number titles and putting them in a Premier Pro file without going mad. I failed.
After that there was some editing. Took a while to get it just right. I finished an hour ago at 7am. Not been to bed yet. I should do that.
The series starts on the 8th December at 9pm UK time. I hope you dig it, it took a lot of work.
It will get about 27 views.

PS. I've not been working on games since before the wedding. Now this is cleared I may be able to get some stuff done before Xmas! Woo!

Ever since you announced this on the podcats I've been hyped, and the fact you're releasing this on my birthday just makes me feel even more excited!!! :D (And in keeping with comments, I'll be no. 17!
