Hey Dan! I've got two more game recommendations for you. The first one is King Toung, a game where you're put in a "2D platform arena" and you use webswinging mechanics to defeat hordes of bananas that appear to be rip-offs of minions. The second game is Seedship, an entirely text-based game where you fill the role of an AI tasked with finding a suitable planet for 1000 colonists with endings based on the decisions you make that are surprisingly varied and detailed. Side note: both of these games are mobile games that are 100% free, meaning no upfront cost or microtransactions.

So Dan, since we can't talk about some of the podcast, let's talk about other parts. You had mentioned from time to time that you were close to a game being completed, later to imply that it had been canned for failing to meet standards. I think this happened at least twice. Since these games are now never going to see the light of day would you be willing to talk about what they were, what was good about them, what was bad about them, and what was it about those games that forced you to decide they didn't meet a standard worthy of publishing? And honestly, even a crap game from you that didn't meet your standard, is full of bugs, and is never going to be completely working or have a working ending is probably better than 9/10 of what gets published these days at minimum. So are you willing to put out alpha state games with the disclaimer that they will not be updated?

I'm sorry you and the company have had such a rough time. Well, actually I'm kind of angry I can't do much to help. I'll have to settle for trying to throw more money at you whenever I can. It's been 6 years since I started watching, and the content you've put over the years has helped me ride through a lot of shit. From depression to dealing with some pretty nasty auto immune diseases, seeing the notification for a new video or a twitch stream has actually gotten me out of bed so I could watch it on a proper screen. In a world where 'charidee', 'I love my fans' etc is so often only used for effect or attention, it's apparent how genuine the effect this has had on you is.
