I'm so sorry to hear your struggling, I wish I had some advice but I'm not one to talk so I guess all i got are good vibes, inbound!
2020-10-13 00:18:58 +0000 UTCI'm so sorry about your withdrawal Dan. I really hope you feel better very soon and although I know you have had a bad few months I hope the rest of the year is much better for you. Good luck.

2020-10-09 04:09:20 +0000 UTCHey Dan I'm 35 year old war veteran. I have PTSD due to my time in war. I have been on sertralin 12 years now. So I have some experience. Do NOT stop from 100 mg to nothing. Get back on it now. Your brain not just rewire it self. It does not work that way. I have tried 5 times. Each time nearly ended in suicide. As for the sleep. Melatonin 2-3 mg 1 to 2 hours before bed. It doesn't make you sleep but to get you to sleep. I hope you see this. If you have questions or something, contact me. Best regards Bjarke, Denmark
2020-10-08 10:58:09 +0000 UTCAs someone who is currently going through this shit, I can say that this helped me realise that I'm not the only one who is going through this. To put it into perspective I've had 5 hours of sleep in 48 hours. #funtimes #fuckanxiety

2020-10-05 10:25:23 +0000 UTCTake care of yourself, Dan. That’s what’s most important. Get better soon. I hope the docs can help you out as best they can, I hope things look up from here. Excited for your book!

2020-10-04 09:47:51 +0000 UTCHe didn't choose to stop his medication. He said before that due to the pandemic, his Doctor can't source his meds.

2020-10-04 09:35:51 +0000 UTCIf you want a book that swaps to scripts randomly, look at Edgar Cantaro's "Meddling Kids" and "This Body's Not Big Enough for Both of Us"!

2020-10-03 07:00:29 +0000 UTCHey, I’m by no means a doctor, much less yours, but when it comes to medication, I don’t know if you should throw away an umbrella because you haven’t gotten wet in the rainstorm. I trust you’ve discussed this with your doctor beforehand. Take care of yourself Dan.

2020-10-02 22:13:52 +0000 UTCTake your time Daniel rest up and get well and put your health first.
2020-10-02 21:35:37 +0000 UTCDaniel - I'm so sorry you're going through withdrawal hell! I cut celexa off cold turkey a few months ago after it started giving me paranoia, and my doctor essentially said "fuck off! I can't prescribe you anything else!" and I had a few weeks of just feeling awful. It's like a really groggy, hazy kind of awful. Please take it easy and remember it'll pass soon. Take all the time you need to feel better, everyone will understand!! We have plenty old videos to marathon or catch up on anyways.

2020-10-02 20:57:10 +0000 UTCThis is probably useless for others but... I can tell if I'm close to sleeping if I can sense clear colour as I try to dream. I have had issues with my brain not shutting up so my strategy was to have mindless scenarios. Usually it's falling from several thousand feet or gliding over the ocean. Just focusing my brain on rendering the scene with no emotional attachment to it helps ease me into actual sleep. Doesn't always work but after practicing it for years, I'd say it works 70-80% to fall asleep in under an hour. Good luck dealing with the withdrawal and recovery.

2020-10-02 20:42:49 +0000 UTCHope you start feeling a bit better soon. Medication withdrawals fucking suck, so I hope you know that what you're dealing with is rough. Wishing you and your family the best

2020-10-02 20:25:28 +0000 UTCThis is really horrible. Wish I could offer advice but everything I could say you know already. Just hope you're okay. Break as long as you need.

2020-10-02 20:18:28 +0000 UTCI hope you're doing ok. So I've been watching you for so so many years and I kinda know you (what you show) though your videos. But listening to this podcast really fucked with my head, because everything you were describing of how your brain was working is exactly how my missus brain works. So for a minute there it felt so very strange, because everything you said was so so familiar and personal.

2020-10-02 16:33:35 +0000 UTCI've been having the exact same issues with not sleeping/weird fake sleep and I'm so, so sorry to hear you're going through the same thing. It is absolute buckets of ass and I hope it gets easier for you soon.
2020-10-02 15:29:31 +0000 UTCHopefully you don't get brainzaps on top of all this. (Imagine a microsleep with a JOLT involved). Masterchef has been really helpful for me but I want you to feel better so take as much time as you need.

2020-10-02 14:17:44 +0000 UTCWhenever I find myself in a heightened state of anxiety (Which is often even with 100mg of sertraline) I think about the future, not the distant future cause that's scary again, but a month or 2 ahead because I always know the bad times won't last forever, life is a rollercoaster but it can't go downhill forever
