PATREON EARLY ACCESS: RTX Minecraft Buildy Thing - 3 - Roof And Roots

Hello.

Episode 3 is here! Featuring more lanterns than that one bit in that one Disney film I can't remember the name of right now. You know the one. With the lanterns.

- Dan

P.S. Here's the Patreon Exclusive 'Retro' version for those who prefer it. ENJOY: https://youtu.be/ZoC4PYEaW1o - Matt

PATREON EARLY ACCESS: RTX Minecraft Buildy Thing - 3 - Roof And Roots

Comments

I am loving this series so much that I finally decided to buy a new, non-laptop gaming rig, and play RTX Minecraft survival. (also to play Half-Life Alyx and Death Stranding and Fallen Order.... )

Nicholas LeCompte

Absolutely loving the Retro version of these videos. The original Minecraft Buildy Thing series was one of the first series I watched from Dan, so the nostalgia from the fan in the background makes these vids so much better

For some reason this is reminding me of Townscaper

It makes me very happy to see this series with this much detail. When you decide to build a house with a chimney, a detail I use is to either use cobwebs to mimic smoke, or use the new Camp fires to generate actual smoke partials.

Two words! Bridge. House. doitdoitdoitdoit!

Christopher Walker

Tangled is the film I believe

Definitely Human

Dan, a tip for those damn wandering traders: `/gamerule doTraderSpawning false` You can still spawn them manually, and set it back to true when you want it

Qwerty-Space

It's not Dan's tree house its Dan's house of trees!

Additional Sound of fan, and looking at comments of previous post Matt is also doing some sound mixing on the retro versions to emulate old videos, This means Matt has to render out the video twice to then upload to YouTube. meaning double work for a single episode. My comment is there as a sign of appreciation for the work that Matt is doing on these Vids

Karl Blythe

what do you think is happenin here?

Ethan Woodhouse

Matt is doing a lot of rendering out for these, though it is appreciated for the retro versions
