Concept Art: Carla, Noelle, and the Sky Room
Added 2023-03-07 15:16:12 +0000 UTCToday we have more concept art for the main story comic. I'm super excited to share this since it is such a big part of the first half.
The "sky room" refers to a reoccurring place in Noelle's dream where she meets the spirit of Carla Boone. Although this Carla is not actually a ghost, she is merely Noelle's imagination from what she's heard about her.
Carla plays a big role in the second arc of the comic as Noelle tried to rescue her from the Legion, thinking that she was still a captive. She is one of the deads that hugely affected Noelle's life. This part deals a lot with the feeling of being trapped so that is why Noelle and Carla are both shackled when they meet in the sky room.
I plan to include the introduction to the sky room dream as part of the teaser comic, although we might not dive too deep there, I'm still excited to share Noelle and Carla's dynamic with everyone!

Yesss <3 I imagine she speaks very calmly almost like a recording. It's a tone that when Noelle wakes up she can only remember the words but not the voice.
