Throwback to our Dress Shopping miniseries!
Added 2023-05-08 19:54:14 +0000 UTCHi! Hope everyone is having a great day. I want to share the Dress Shopping comic miniseries again, since unlike the Strangers comic there isn't much opportunity to link back or bring it up.
This miniseries, especially the Scars and Reflection comic, is probably the first time we showed Noelle's main story. The positive reception from this really encouraged me to share more of her lore in comics, shifting our overall content.
This whole event took place around the tail end of 2281, when Noelle and the team were preparing to infiltrate the Strip. They wanted some more formal clothes to blend in with the gamblers, although Noelle was very reluctant to dress up since she hated her own reflection. Noelle was injured when her village was destroyed ten years ago and the scars were an extremely painful reminder. Noelle had been avoiding her reflection to not trigger those memories, and it resulted in her negative self-image.

I hope you enjoy a look back to one of our old miniseries! It's still one of my all time favorites up there with the Strangers comic. I'm trying to get myself back into main story mood again so I can finish the drafted prologue comics I'm working on. ♥
