I Have the Poweeerrrrrr! (Again)
Added 2020-09-22 02:45:39 +0000 UTCHey, everyone. I hope that you're all doing well. After five days and some hours, my power was finally restored yesterday, earlier than I was thinking it'd be. I spent a great deal of the day cleaning up what I could and getting hold of the flood insurance people (who came today).
I just got my systems reconnected and started up again. Nothing seems to be wrong, thankfully, and it's still early enough that I should be able to finish work on this month's project before October gets here.
As for October... I'm really not sure yet if I'll have the ability to work that month. The flood water obviously soaked into the walls and I may end up in a hotel again like what happened some years ago. The thing that complicates matters is that I don't want to be in this house anymore after all this! So I'm not sure what is gonna happen with regards to repairs and moving away and all of the mountain of other things that that hurricane brought to me.
If I think I won't be able to make art for you guys, I'll pause payments for October and you won't be charged for an auto-renew.
I always like doing work in October since I feel like I can make spookier things than I usually do...
Anyway, I apologize for any of this inconvenience to you! Thanks again for your kind thoughts. They helped me get through that stressful time in the dark.
