Reward: June Assortment

Hey, guys!  June is almost at an end and I've got some random stuff for you to finish out the month on.

Thanks, as always, for your support, everyone.  It means a great deal.  I'm most likely going to be pausing payments for July (and perhaps August -- but I'll see how things go later in July before that) to finish my treatments.  It's finally nearing the end.  Thank you for being there for me.  It's meant a lot. 😊

Take care of yourselves and have a great weekend!
-Lucky 🍀

(I'm gonna be making another suggestion post soon to see what you guys wanna see next!  And then probably a poll sometime after if I can't decide among the suggestions -- you all always give amazing ideas and it's tough to choose!)

Sorry Lucky if I'm been a bit over protecting but Alexi and Ryan are my favorite characters and I fell in love with them with their current models. It will need some adjustment to the changes u need to do but we will always love and support you and your work.

I don't mind the criticisms as long as there's something I can learn from it. 🙂 And I hope things are okay over there. I have to admit that the reaction to these new versions was not at all what I was expecting. I'm wondering if part of it was introducing them all like this in one big go. I guess I can explain part of that desire with what's been going on with my personal life. But it's been important to read and I've been making some changes based on it. I'll see what I can do about the hair to prolong its use, but it is showing its age and I can't stay with it forever. Same with the costumes -- though I have been using Perfect Slam's items for a long time now. They're great stuff and he helps me a lot. I'll reevaluate some things, though. These guys are always (and always will be) a work in progress. Thanks for your input and take good care. 🙂

My only complain in the WIP stuff is Alexi and Ryan hair: it's too short and the hairline a bit odd. I think they were perfect the way they were. No need to change perfection. :)

Hi, Damion. Long comment, indeed! But I appreciate hearing your thoughts. 🙂 I'm glad that you enjoyed the Herc additions. I probably shouldn't have posted HITF given the extra time it needed putting into it. About the skin, it's still a work in progress like the other stuff, but I understand what you're saying. The HDRI lighting that I used can make skin look lighter than intended. Next time I try Conan out, I'll see if I can make that look right. And about the ballooning, I'm not quite sure I follow, sorry. 😅 He's the same as in the previous panels, just with a zoomed-in camera there. Maybe it's the angle making it look that way? And the fur is here to stay where possible. 😊 With the new wrestlers: honestly, I probably made a mistake in showing them before they're 'stage ready' so to speak. A lot of other artists show WIPs and sketches and such all the time, but I always feel jittery doing that. I do actually like the way these guys look and I was proud of how they looked so far. Mack was pretty bad early on, but I got him pretty close to his previous iteration, I thought. I'm sorry to hear about any creepy face problems. 😞 Was there anything in particular that made you feel that way? I probably made a mistake in doing close-up shots; I just wanted to show the increased detail in the new models. But it's hard to know how things'll be taken. I'll figure things out, I'm sure. 🙂 One of the reasons I went for this is because of the Alexi vs Hunter story. Hunter (and his dad) is the new generation model and Alexi was on the old one and it felt rather jarring having them looking like that together. But it'll take a bit of time to iron things out, as I'm sure I've repeated too many times by now. Thanks for your comment and all. Have a good weekend. 🙂

Thanks, Steven. I appreciate it. I know things aren't great, but I'll keep trying. 🙂

Thanks, glad you liked Herc. 🙂 I put new and old Alexi side by side for another comparison and they're basically the same kind of muscle. I did do as close a job of the conversion as I could. Not perfect at all, but that's the way the tech is, I'm afraid. I will tweak and adjust as time goes by, like I have with the older versions over time. It may be the hair and new skin, too, really. Thanks for your feedback. 🙂

Long comment alert!!! I've seen the work you have put into this, and it shows. Most of it looks good BUT, I am always trying to be honest with you, Lucky, so I do have to say that there are some problems. This is constructive criticism, and I am not trying to hurt your feelings. This is just what I saw in your work. Hercules in the Wild West: Honestly, this one is perfect. The extra scenes are great, and the small touch-ups weren’t needed but very appreciated. It’s always nice to see a creator try to improve their work even slightly when not needed. Heat in the Frost: The crossover that was unexpected but pretty nice. There were some problems. I couldn’t recognize Conan at first. His skin color is different than the one you use. It’s a lot lighter. I actually thought I was just seeing things until I went back to one of my favorites, “Barbarian and Olympian Clash,” and saw his darker skin. Originally, I thought you added John Snow from Game of Thrones and gave him steroids so he could fit in the setting. Not accusing you of anything, but I just wanted to let you know. (Also, Conan’s last panel in HITF has him ballooning in muscle. I find it hot because I love brawn and muscle growth, but it might look weird to people.) The fur was a great change, and I hope to see it on more characters. June Assortment: These models have the biggest problems with them. It could be because they might be works in progress, but only the first one with Gorilla was said to be WIP, so I’m not sure. Everyone has lighter skin (except for Kugo), they look smoothed out, lacking some of their more rugged features, and their faces are kind of creepy. I get you changed art styles, hence why you’re showing us the new models, but they look so different and less like an evolution like when you changed the first two times around. It also feels like you’re trying to mimic your friend Perfect Slam. I don’t want to come across as mean. I just think it doesn’t work or needs more development. I’ll have to see it in a story before I come to anything concrete. Final Thoughts: I know you are still recovering, and I hope you aren’t jumping back in too soon. If you need more rest, just work on smaller projects. I was fine with just “Herc in WW,” and I’m sure a lot of your supporters would agree. I still love what you're doing and hope to see how you evolve.

Dear LORD! You've put a lot of work into this and it shows, the new characters look great, the change over to the new engine makes them really pop! And lordy..that backbreaker/ballgrab piledriver...so damn hot!

Steven Cross

So happy to see more of Hercules and Tex! 🥺 Amazing, I loved the extras! With the work-in-progress renders, I hope you don't mind my feedback but I felt that the muscle could look 'harder' if that makes sense! 😅 Perhaps it's the lighting, but all of the characters look really ripped and fantastic in the Herc pack! I'd love to see that in the new character renders. Anyway, looking forward to what's next and glad to hear your treatment is almost finished. All the best with it, Lucky!
