[Shadowrunners+co] Supernatural variants?

Hi everyone,

This question is directed to Shadowrun players/GMs and all who mix some supernatural or magical elements into their campaigns or settings.

Looking at the recent poll about the games you are playing. I noticed there is a fairly significant amount of Shadowrun players/GMs.

Now, I must admit that I haven't played Shadowrun in a while (although now I have some serious plans to fix this matter), and I'd need a bit of help from You.

If I did some variants with supernatural/magical elements, what should these include? How do magical or supernatural influences manifest in your games?

Are these more subtle details or plain demonic horror?

All kinds of examples are very welcome!

These can be other unique details, too, like how would a troll gang's hideout look or a boardroom of a corporation with a dragon CEO.

Please, drop your comments, suggestions, and wishes in the comments below.

Thanks!

Specific but brilliant! I would love to have a map like that. Ritual circle engraved in chrome instead of silver, with holographic runes projected around it and a tablet displaying a spellbook. On one side of the ritual room is an old-school robing room for the acolytes, but on the other side is the server farm and netrunner's security centre.

I actually have one example, where a special SR map with lots of magic & cyberpunk details would be great. I’m planing a run on the hideout of a secret magic society. In my vision of the map, it would combine lots of tech/cyberpunk elements with lots of magic symbols, candles, books and a ritual circle. Granted this is a very specific example, thou…

What I get from the comments, as a whole, pretty much matches my impression of the maps. Mostly low-key hints, with an occasional exception maybe. Keep comments and ideas coming. I'll start planning some assets :)
