I tried to record window of SAI so that the layers and effects were visible. but I will duplicate my actions with text - at the very beginning I removed a lot of unnecessary layers so that the drawing was not too heavy, then I started by doing the basic colors of the characters through the layer properties - overlay and multiplay for a little more brightness. Then I made some approximate background colors and tried to process it so that I could adjust the colors on the characters to make it clearer what the atmosphere is in the picture. many details seemed faded and I corrected it also through overlay and multiplayer as needed, as well as with a simple render I continued to make details on the characters. after that, I worked on the details of the background and monsters and proceeded to the final processing, when I combined the characters and the background into one layer and finished all the details of the drawing at once. but I kept the silhouettes of the characters for myself so that it would be faster and more convenient to make a selection if necessary. at the end I did a check in photoshop - converting the drawing to black and white again to see which details merged in tone. it helped me to understand that I was lacking depth in the drawing and I tried to add a little more depth with the light.
