His obsessive tendencies and inability to have normal reciprocal conversations sounds like someone I know who is high functioning Autistic. Could Dr. John address this? If not Autism, then certainly OCD, ADHD, or something along those lines? Or, was he just a product of his father’s perversions? He seemed wholly incapable of functioning in a normal, responsible manner. Perhaps he was undiagnosed and as such unable to cope. *PLEASE understand this is no attempt to excuse his horrific acts, just an attempt at understanding how things could have gone so terribly wrong.
