Joe Ryan’s Sex Offender Assessment

This is the full sex offender assessment of Joe Ryan.
A few things to note: Joe Ryan is Tylee’s father, and Lori’s ex-husband (her third ex-husband).
This assessment was done during a custody battle between Joe and Lori. Lori claimed Joe had abused Tylee, thus this assessment was court-ordered.
There is a difference between a sex offender ASSESSMENT, and what is called a Psychosexual EVALUATION. John almost always does evaluations. Evaluations are more in depth, and more testing is involved. John’s average psychosexual evaluation is 25 pages long, and some can be up to 40 pages long, depending on how much testing is required. This assessment is only 6 pages.
While less testing is involved in an assessment than in evaluations, usually assessments do contain childhood and family history, and a lot more testing than this one gives us.
Assessments are usually done by social workers, and evaluations are done by psychologists, although guidelines vary from state-to-state.
The woman who did this assessment is a social worker, and she was recently interviewed for an upcoming Dateline episode. It should be interesting, and we look forward to hearing from Vivian Lewis.
While we do not feel this assessment is complete without more testing, more history, and a deeper look into Joe’s psyche, it does provide valuable information, and the interview with Lori was the most fascinating part for us to read. We referenced this interview in several episodes.

I can't believe this monster was allowed to adopt J.J! My cousin's wife was an immature 18 year old got pregnant by her 15 year old boyfriend and fast forward eighteen years the baby boy grew up to get his 17 year old girlfriend pregnant and my cousin's wife isn't allowed to adopt her own granddaughter she remained on the sex registry until the son was 15! But even though she's not allowed to adopt she's an excellent grandmother. But someone like Lori isn't fit to have a pet rock let alone a child!

2022-03-01 04:34:39 +0000 UTCDr John, Does the fact that Lori (with Joe) enjoyed the fantasy and role play of "ra**" (it stated or domineering and ra** role play and games, not sure if they're considered one in the same as far as categorizes in this test) say anything about her as far as accusing Joe maybe for her own enjoyment, or does it speak to anything personality wise and a situation dealing with murder? I'm aware this could be an absolutely normal fantasy game for consenting adults and I personally wouldn't judge and couple for their private relationships, but I'm interested to know if it is normal, actually what now know about Lori.

I’ve heard of such a thing but wonder how common false-memories actually are? (I am not in any way suggesting that Colby’s memories of abuse are false. I would never wish to further traumatize him). I’m asking for personal reasons.
