UPCOMING NETFLIX DOC: Dr John will be featured!

Gosh, I missed the notice of this before I listened to the latest about Colby’s arrest….living life backwards - my story of retirement! First: I am so happy for the two of you - you’re getting the recognition you deeply deserve!! Second: it’s always such a pleasure listening to you two interact, funny, respectful, loving. Third: hearing the portrayal of how John’s parents are when they listen to TV made me laugh and cry at once! I so miss my Mom and Dad! I was very touched when Dr. Babe spoke of Colby’s frustration and anger - how he just wanted The Truth!! The Truth - I recalled a conversation I’d had many years ago with my Mom and I was very hurt. We worked through her secret-keeping stuff (she was born in 1911, family secrets were a thing then - it was about her mother’s suicide, not a murder). So unlike yesterday, I’m feeling more compassion for Colby. He was his mother’s favorite and his life has been turned upside down for him, and his road just got longer. Lastly, More Cowbell!!

I have literally listened to everything you guys have done and love what you’re doing. And, certainly did not mean any disrespect by my comment. And, you’re right, you did explore both Chad and Lori’s upbringing. I think my reaction is because of the heartbreak, I can only imagine, Kelsey must be experiencing. I also believe it’s highly likely she will hear this podcast and would hate it if she thought anyone would minimize what happened to her.

I'm not sure if you have listened to our podcast, but the essence of "hidden" is to explore the hidden motives and backgrounds of each person to understand why crimes occur. We did do this with his mother Lori as well, along with Chad, and even alex.

Will definitely watch the Netflix documentary knowing that you are part of it! Girl in the picture is such a very sad story. I had tears at the end and felt thankful her story was being told and had been solved...Today my phone was automatically downloading I Just Killed My Dad, though I cancelled it as I've seen it on there but wasn't sure if I wanted to see it. However, you have recommended it along with the other one so will download them both and look forward to your thoughts on Hidden True Crime : )

Your probably right the Casey Anthony case a media company tried to stiff the grandparents Cindy and George but they sued the media company, I looked them up looking for something on the case and stumbled on the lawsuit and they didn't wait till after the trial they filed it right away it was a well known outfit even tho I can't remember the exact one.

My husband has nothing but blue t shirts (he’s a welder). I’ve tried getting him other colors, but I have given up after 33 years. 😏Also, I watched “I Killed my Dad” and can’t wait for Dr. John’s opinion on that case. The kid was isolated all his life and had little in the way of outside support. I’m really looking forward to the Netflix documentary in September, too. Best wishes always.

Learned a lot, actually, about the realities of “behind the scenes.” I do hope that participating helped Colby in processing all that happened. I’ve always had a bit of a soft spot for him, as he is in a uniquely tragic position. Having said all of that, I want to congratulate y’all. So excited for you, and I can’t wait for September 14th!
