UPDATE- NEW CASES WE ARE FOLLOWING
Added 2022-10-11 02:00:07 +0000 UTCPatreon gems! What a weekend, and what a Monday. John is now sick, but I am doing better--luckily. During the weekend two new cases were brought to our attention and we're following both closely. Four new YouTube videos have been posted, (it was three videos when I started writing this patreon post, but I just did another unexpected interview, so that makes four).
I'll share the links below for the first case out of Excelsior Springs, MO, and I'll share additional Patreon posts later tonight to make sure you get the ad-free RSS audio podcast episodes for each video.
John has yet to comment on the cases, but will once we know more. As for now we are in the discovery/interview process which is usually my job.
The first case is out of Excelsior Springs, MO, a suburb of Kansas City. No word yet from police today after a woman escaped her kidnapper Friday morning and ran to the neighbors home. I spoke to the granddaughter of the woman who let the victim in. That interview link (video form) is below. Ad-free audio is above. LE has been at the house of Timothy Haslett Jr. since Friday morning, and today they have been boarding the home up.

Five minutes ago I finished up an interview with someone who casually dated Tim Haslett Jr, the man behind bars charged with rape and kidnapping. Maggie says she saw no red flags: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvuqgBjb1s0

Thank you! I think they were falling off here π€£. I still havenβt figured out how to get fake lashes on easily, but they are fun to wear!

2022-10-21 05:34:07 +0000 UTCHi Lauren! As a Kansas City girl, Iβm very interested in your coverage of the Excelsior Springs case. Iβve been following your podcast/YouTube channel since the beginning. I admit Iβm borderline obsessed with the Daybell case. Thereβs just so many layers. Anyways, you should Google search Terry Blair. He is a convicted serial killer in KC metro who killed several women that he picked up around Prospect Ave in September 2004. I know Law Enforcement has not confirmed that Tim Haslett Jr. has additional victims, but if he does Iβm wondering if there might be parallels in these cases. Just found it interesting. Thanks for all the work you and Dr. John do to shine a light on these cases!

2022-10-13 02:35:57 +0000 UTCThe Excelsior Springs case is bringing to mind cases of serial killers who are able to compartmentalize so effectively that those around them are in disbelief when the news hits. A part of BTK and Ted Bundy were able to lead normal lives by observation while committing the worst of the worst in their secret lives. Timothy H sounds the same to me. I hope Dr. John does a sit down to talk about compartmentalization. I feel for the people who know Timothy and will have to come to terms with the reality. Especially his little boy.
