I am watching the cult called Heaven’s Gate on HBO & it is astonishing that people believe these things. I am still blown away that the parents of a 10 year old girl were some of the people who committed suicide.

I doubt she believes in anything. From her text messaging with Alex, I think she had a pretty good idea what would happen to Tylee. My question would be, what was in it for Zulema? What was her end game here?

Then in the interview with the PD she acts like she didn't know they were the kind of people who would kill people. Do you think she's credible at all? Also, what kind of mother doesn't tell the son still living at home that she got married? My heart goes out to that kid.

2022-10-21 16:04:39 +0000 UTCWhy would Alex confide in Zulema that he was "afraid" Chad and Lori were going to make him the "fall guy" when he had done so many other horrible things to people and animals (left dogs in the dessert to die (reportedly) for Lori? His allegiance was to Lori. Not Zulema. I do not think Alex would have ever confided anything to Zulema. IMO, that was Zulema covering for her own knowledge of the crimes because Alex is dead and cannot talk. Opinion?
