February's book is: THE EXAMINED LIFE, by Stephen Grosz. February's meeting will be Tuesday the 28th at 6pm Pacific. Some have already mentioned they cant be there that day, while it's a good day for others, and please know that we did look at all possible options. We tried to pick the best day for Dr. Babe and each of you, but unforunate realize it can't work for everyone. It will always be recorded and shared here on Patreon for those unable to attend.
We will have the info on the book club website soon, but will also share updates here.

Hopefully I will make it to the next one - which I’ve downloaded as my free audible book and listening at work! Well done John on handling that room full but having it feel like a chat around your table. Also thanks to any mental health workers out there. My best buddy is a psych nurse practitioner and the stuff she deals with everyday, is the stuff others need 2 weeks stress leave for. She has had to wrestle people with weapons, be called every name under the sun- but she does all of it with compassion for the person she is responding to or trying to put into care. She often says “ he’s a lovely man when he’s well- but he’s such an asshole when he’s sick- but he always says sorry and thanks me for the compassion I showed him “
