That took some time huh?

It sure did! I underestimated the scope of work that I was creating when writing Chapter 4. And I underestimated how quickly support for this project might grow. So life got in the way, and things took much longer than expected. For those that have been anxiously awaiting this chapter, I'm sorry. I wanted to see this update finished just as much as you did. I sincerely hope it's worth the wait.

Where were those progress updates?

Every time I thought about making an update, I became frustrated with the slow pace of development and just buried myself back in the work of producing the chapter. It was not a good plan. And it left y'all in the dark. Again, apologies. Fingers crossed I can improve in that department.

What's in this chapter?

This chapter covers the next five days of David's story. It pushes the plot forward while developing the characters further. It includes two sex scenes.

Sick technical details dude...

Each chapter of Fantasy Valley strives to improve. This chapter makes a concerted effort to improve the quality of art across various aspects of the story. I hope it shows! It also was written to unfold at a more compelling pace while loosening the linear feel of previous chapters. (The story is still linear. It just provides more opportunity to explore between events.) This involved learning about... variables. Fun... And finally, I discovered rigging. You'll know it when you see it. It was a lot of work, but I think the result is a smoother and better animation.

What's next?

Chapter 5 of course! Which will be shorter! And faster! I hope...

The wait for chapter 4 was long and frustrating, but until the project attracts more support the realities of life will take their toll on my availability. My sincere gratitude to everyone who has read Fantasy Valley and supported thus far! I truly hope you enjoy it!
