Mixed emotions.

Apologies for the lack of posts. I've been kinda demoralized by how much work this chapter has been taking, so I've avoided writing a Patreon post for a while. You'd expect me to have gotten a grasp of scope and project management by now, but I haven't. I'm sorry.

Work has continued. Chapter 9 is slowly but surely shaping up. I think this chapter has some of my best writing yet. However the writing has required a ton of art, which has been dragging me down.

A question then. How many of you notice or appreciate the amount of art in stories like Fantasy Valley? I guess my curiosity is whether the sheer volume of art is necessary or worth while? I see so many projects that get by with the same old character sprites scene after scene. Thoughts? Maybe I'm just tired and moaning while my coffee kicks in.

Please trust me that the chapter is getting somewhere, and that I'm doing my best to make the wait as brief as possible. Thanks to all of you for the encouragement and support! It means a lot.
