Progress.

Ch. 10 is completely outlined and in production. It's set to cover the next four days of David's story, but it should read fast since a good chunk of that will be rapidly-moving story bits and montage. Fingers crossed that means it gets made faster too... But you all know how that goes.

Spoiler-ish thoughts.

The first day and a half will include some time in town, then David will be off on a little tangent for the remainder. I realize nobody has been complaining, but it's felt a bit ridiculous to write these last few chapters, as David essentially just runs from one romantic encounter to another. He sure has gotten luckier as time has gone on. This next chapter will be the last calm before the storm as the valley's larger story kicks into gear. That's right... after all this time, we're finally approaching the middle build! Bumm bumm bummmmmmm!

This all goes to say that I should have opportunities to include more adventure bits to move the narrative forward alongside all those breaks for romantic encounters. At least that's the idea anyway. So, on towards act two! And yes, that probably means Ch. 10 will end on a cliff hanger. Mwahahahaha!

I hope you're all doing well wherever you may be. This year has been a doozy, but as it draws to a close I can say that I'm proud of how Fantasy Valley has improved over the last 12 months. I'm very grateful to everyone that has supported that progress, and I'm excited to see what the future may hold for David and the valley's many residents!
