Animation is awesome...

I have been fascinated by animation for many years now and I've studied its various forms and techniques over that time.

One of the things that I hope my games benefit from is the use of animated sequences.
I've become much more accomplished in my animating skills and really enjoy creating nice little sequences like this one with Bridgette.

It exists because I've been working on Chapter 8 today and this is a test animation for a small new scene I intend to add in.

During the game itself, Bridgette will be wearing her gym attire.
But for the purposes of setting up the scene and figuring out all the anatomical movements, it's much better to work with a naked figure.
It's also much more fun that way.

I had tried using an animated running asset that I had purchased, but unfortunately it wasn't actually that great.

So these animated gifs are the result of a few hours of working out the pose and timings to make what I think are some pretty realistic looking movements.
I'm especially happy with the rocking hips and lower back movement, and I've added some subtle hair movement.
Of course the bouncy bits bounce well too, and the glossy skin effect and lighting help finish it all off nicely.
Bridgette's necklace also moves up and down and side to side if you look past the obvious...

I think you might like it

Sounds good

Ah okay. That makes sense if you have a slow internet connection. We will be adding a 'page reload' function when we update all the HTML files after the Ch6 release. It will allow you to overcome the incomplete animation issues associated with slow page load times.

Yes, the GIFs on the Patreon App are smooth, I meant the animations in the actual game on the website. I use a Firefox Browser on a gaming laptop, and when the next page loads with an animation that is only played once and is not repeated, i usually just see chunks, and not a fluent animation before it ends. But not every time. So I thought maybe the pages just don't load quick enough on my end. Because animations that repeat themselves on the other hand, are fluent once the page is fully loaded.
