Today's remakes
Added 2022-02-15 18:36:17 +0000 UTCIt's been another productive week so far. I've started work on remastering another big scene from Episode Three.
This is where you have the opportunity to go with Holly and Amy to the old barn in the forest near to the Academy.
The whole reason for the visit is to help Holly with her photography project and Amy has agreed to be your model.
Looking back at the original images, it's clear to see the flaws in the lighting and camera set up. Although it's taking some time, I am very happy to go back and remake scenes like this one. Particularly like the use of a broad backlight for some midday sunshine.
I hope that you also agree that the process is worth it.
I've rendered out about 50 images today and some of them have been really big processor hungry monsters.
Not bad considering I had four computer freeze/crashes to deal with too.
I'm backing up everything on a regular basis so no major issues.

I'll be making an announcement after I've had a progress meeting with my platform developer on Friday. Should still be on schedule to launch the website during March. It won't include all the episodes at first until we are totally happy all the features are working, plus I'm still working on updating the existing episodes.

2022-03-02 19:20:28 +0000 UTCThe new platform will remove the need for codes completely. I'm replacing them with frequent save points and a move away from browser based cookies. There will be a whole lot more to explore in the updated episodes so I'm going to suggest everyone starts thinking of The Academy series as a new game when it gets released. I'll be updating you all on that in the next day or two.
