Ch9 : Solo Pathway

WARNING! This post contains spoilers!

The solo pathway in Chapter Nine is an alternative to starting your Thursday evening with Bridgette. (See Chapter Nine : Bridgette Pathway for more) 

You can explore on your own and meet up with a range of people in different locations.

The chapter starts in your hotel room after you have finished working at the Goodhead Academy on Thursday.

HOTEL ROOM : 6:00pm

You start in the hotel room and you have 120 cash in your wallet.

If you ended Chapter Eight by gaining Bridgette's phone number, then you will have the option to call her and ask her out on a date.

If you have her number but instead want to head out on the solo pathway then just don't call her.

This switches you onto the solo pathway.

If you got fired or failed to get Bridgette's number then your only option is the solo pathway.

HOTEL ROOM : CALLING FOR ROOM SERVICE

After taking a shower, you can return to the bed and have the option to call room service and request some clean towels. While waiting for the maid you have the option to start jerking off.

The maid will knock on the door and you can invite her in while still jerking off, or you can stop and cover yourself.

Taking the modest and respectful option means the maid will talk to you in the corridor as you leave.

If she caught you jerking off then she will close the door if you approach her.

After leaving your hotel room, there are three locations to visit. These are split into three parts and can be visited in any order.

Different combinations will yield different outcomes.

VISITING THE PARK : PART ONE : 7:00pm

An early visit to the park as your first option allows some voyeurism.

You can watch a couple getting intimate while you remain hidden in the bushes.

Get too close and you will be seen. To see everything just resist the temptation to get any closer.

If you head to the park first you can still visit the bar or the restaurant next without missing anything there.

VISITING THE RESTAURANT : PART ONE : 7:30pm

If you go to the Restaurant first, you will meet Susie the waitress and get taken to your table.

Before ordering your food, a group of girls arrives and is seated at a nearby table.

You can look aver at them and they smile and look back.

After finishing your pizza, one of the girls named Emily will came over to talk.

The other girls also come over and ask if you will pay for their meal.

You can reject their request or do as they ask and get a kiss from each of them when you leave the restaurant after paying.

The girls leave together in a taxi and there is no way to go with them.

Note: If you tip Susie the waitress, she will remember you if you see her during Chapter Eleven.

VISITING THE BAR : PART ONE : 7:30pm

You can head straight to the bar, or go there after the early park visit. It's still treated as an early visit on the Chapter Nine timeline.

You arrive at the bar at 7:30pm, and will meet Alexia who is serving at the bar.

Choose any of the three drink options, it doesn't matter which you go for.

Sebastian arrives with his friends. After a short conversation, Caitlin approaches to ask one of you to buy her a drink. Sebastian takes over here and they leave together.

After that you can turn back to the bar and Alexia will ask if you would like another drink.

You can stay for another drink or you can leave.

Respond with "No thanks, I'm heading off now." if you choose to leave.

Pay your bar tab and leave.

Note: If you tip Alexia she will invite you to come back and see her later.

At this point you can either head to the park or head to the restaurant.

Leaving gives the option to head to the park where you can witness Sebastian and Caitlin having sex.

You can also leave and head to the restaurant for a late visit.

Or you can stay and get another drink.

VISITING THE PARK : PART TWO : 8:30pm

You arrive during dusk if you go to the park next after the bar or restaurant visit.

You can enter the park and take a look around but nothing happens here unless you met Sebastian and Caitlin in the bar earlier.

Look to your left as you are leaving the park if you want to witness Sebastian having sex with Caitlin.

Caitlin likes being watched but you cannot join in.

VISITING THE RESTAURANT : PART TWO : 8:00pm

If you leave the bar after one drink and head to the restaurant next, you will arrive at 8:00pm. 

Susie the waitress will take you to your table.

The group of girls is already seated at a nearby table.
You can look aver at them and they smile and look back.
In this instance, because you arrived later the girls leave without coming over to talk to you.

After finishing your meal, you must head to over to pay. There is an option to tip here too.

Note: If you tip Susie the waitress, she will remember you if you see her during Chapter Eleven.

As you are about to leave, Susie's friend Frida arrives.

If you have tipped Susie you get to have a more positive conversation with them both.

Otherwise, the conversation is less friendly.

Note: As you leave the restaurant you will notice the light from a nearby window. Can you identify who is there...?

VISITING THE BAR : PART TWO : 8:00pm

Technically this only occurs if you stay in the bar and have another drink after Sebastian has left with Caitlin.

You can sit at another table while the couple from the park visit and have a celebratory drink with Alexia.

Observe them from a distance as the time progresses to 8:30pm.

The couple leave and you must pay for your drinks.

You must tip Alexia if you want to stay and have another drink with her and reach the bonus options.

VISITING THE PARK : PART THREE : 9:00pm

After leaving the bar or restaurant after part two, you can visit/return to the park.

It will be dark and the gates will be locked.

Look down to find some extra cash on the ground.

VISITING THE RESTAURANT : PART THREE : 9:00pm

After leaving the bar or park after part two, you can visit/return to the restaurant.
It will be dark and the restaurant will be closed.
There is nothing else to do here.

You can return to the park or the bar from this point.

VISITING THE BAR : PART THREE : 9:00pm

If you are already in the bar having a drink with Alexia or if you returned with an invite, then the game continues past 9:00pm.

However, without an invite from Alexia, the bar is closed and you reach the end of the solo pathway in Chapter Nine.

CONTINUATION WITH ALEXIA IN THE BAR

You can return to the bar or simply stay and have a drink with Alexia, and she will flirt with you.

Getting to this stage is mostly reliant on you giving her a tip when you paid for your drinks.
This means that she invites you back to see her.

There are opportunities to kiss Alexia, the last of which is at the door just as you are about to leave.

Her score must be over 3 for her to invite you to stay even longer.

Otherwise she will reject you and insist that you leave and you reach an alternative end to the solo pathway in Chapter Nine.
