Thursday afternoon is a very critical time at the Goodhead Academy
Everything rests on how things go for Principal Valentine.
Olivia Goodhead is out to get her... Bridgette and Didi also want her gone...
But will she come undone after everything you have found out about her and everything that's been happening?
You have some time to kill before you find out the result later on in the afternoon.
While everybody is busy thrashing out the details with Governor Ramsey, you can figure out who else and how else you can help.

Website and other updates
Along with the Chapter Eight release, we have deployed some updates to the website. There have been some new characters added to the 'Characters' page and a few updates to the website navigation features.
We have also been tweaking several other bits of code to improve site performance and consistency.

Managed to play Chapter 8 a few times and as I mentioned in one of my previous posts, I wasn't much of a fan for the older Academy #4 and played it the least out of the older series (which I will include the "Date with Bridgette" subseries in that statement) but do really like some of the changes in Chapter 8 from what happened in Academy #4. I'm not a fan of Principal Valentine (she is my least favourite non-student character) but felt that a scene with her was due before the upcoming events of a Date with Bridgette. Even though I would have preferred different things and more to happen in the new Bridgette gym scene, I liked her jogging animated sequence and can see that a lot of work must have gone into this with all the bouncing and jiggling. While I didn't need it since I played a strong Bridgette game (so she wouldn't be upset), I'm glad that this allows the player to have Bridgette not be as upset with the PC so that the PC has the last opportunity to partake in the actually having a date with Bridgette in the next chapter. The Alicia scene was better than in Academy #4. The lighting was brighter which was a good thing and I can understand why it happened in a darker environment but would have preferred something to be done in "regular room light" or "sunlight" as opposed to "emergency lights". I like that doing Alicia scene no longer means failing in the game. I also like that the Annie scene doesn't automatically have Annie upset with the PC which I believe was always the outcome in the older Academy #4. I did notice that there was a change to how Chapter 8 ends positively regardless of which of the two options the player does to get the positive option to happen as opposed to what happened at the end of Academy #4. I don't want to give any spoilers but I felt that something like this was going to happen since one of the pictures that was shown in the "Let's talk about Bridgette" seemed to indicate something different would happen in Chapter 8 or something would happen after the events of a Date with Bridgette. While I played the older Academy #4 the least, I can see myself playing Chapter 8 a lot more since there are different outcomes and certain events happen at the same time (so one can't for example do the Alicia bonus scene and do the Annie bonus scene at the same time in Chapter 8 since both events happen at the same time similar to how the Amy bonus scene and the Annie bonus scene in Chapter 5 happen at the same time). I can't wait for the updated events for A Date with Bridgette to happen which for the older series was what I played the most. I also hope that since the Academy series is now updated to include things that can happen with Bridgette, this is reflected in the updated Chapter 9, etc. (the chapters for A Date with Bridgette) so that Bridgette for example would be more open and not as shy/proper/reserved/professional without the absolute need for alcohol especially if one has played a very strong Bridgette game or continuing from chapters where Bridgette did have sex with the PC.

Here is a hint... You need to look at the laptop when you meet Governor Ramsey in Ch7 for it to be where you need it to be in Ch8.

2023-02-15 12:15:25 +0000 UTCThanks DREAM. Great to hear your feedback as usual. Very comprehensive and insightful and I'm glad to know my subtle and not so subtle additions are being noted. I'm much happier with how the Alicia scene is structured now, It was also kind of necessary to change it up a little to make the additions to Ch10/11 work. :) Principal Valentine is also a complex character, in a complicated situation, that deserved a scene to match. Again, it's a scene that will also give and be given more context from what I have planned/created for Ch14/15. I'm glad the build up of tension works. You can see perhaps where Annie gets some of her characteristics and behaviour from. Annie is a self confessed slut. Lola is just crazy about sex. I'm not entrirely sure how you draw a distinction between the two. Perhaps that is the basis for a competition... :) But you are right... They do hate each other. Maybe not as much as Holly hates Annie. But that's another story. Bridgette has understandably already had quite a lot of bonus attention. The whole scene in this chapter derived from a few animations I created of her on a treadmill. That just sparked an idea for a scene which can allow you to either rescue an otherwise poor relationship or ruin an otherwise good one. That all relates to the next chapters. There is also middle ground too though. Sebastian is everyone's favorite asshole. I really enjoy having fun writing his dialogue. I'm sure there are many characters that I'm drawing reference from. Megan wants to exact some form of revenge but I won't be too cruel on him. There are actually fourteen endings to Chapter Eight. Two of them are true failures in that you get fired before the end, nine more can be considered failures, and only only one gets the Principal suspended and a date with Bridgette. You do have to make some spectacularly bad choices to find some of them. I hope I haven't made things too easy though. The DwB episodes, Ch9, 10. 11 and 12 will have some notable additions, it's just that I won't do all the image remakes the first time around. Unless I can't bear it and change my mind. The additions will mostly be the alternative timelines that I've mentioned previously. I'm already well underway working on those next chapters. Thanks again for posting!

2023-02-14 23:25:05 +0000 UTCThis chapter was well worth the wait! Best chapter so far with some nice surprises in it as well. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, the initial Ep 4 was never my favorite. I don't mind difficulty but the second half of that episode always felt a little too strict and specific in what was needed to successfully complete the day, and it came at the expense of having a good time with the girls, one of which was locked in the bad ending, that being Alicia, as we could not speak to Megan due to the time spent in the elevator. Needless to say Alicia's scene is so much better now and exciting. I will say I do sort of miss the difficulty factor a tad bit. Something like Jodie's scene in Chapter 2 for instance, getting caught by the Principal if you don't watch the door. Maybe I just got lucky and didn't find any game overs in the bonuses. Principal Valentine's bonus was probably a Top 3 bonus scene so far, and that's saying a lot, and it even made her a better character as well. I felt like I was walking on egg shells the entire time, not really knowing how far I should step. Definitely the most stimulating bonus for me. What can I say about Annie that hasn't already been said? Her bonus was always going to be a banger. It's unfortunate Lola and Annie don't really get along. They could have a serious competition for top slut. (Can I speak it into existence dsp? Lola and Annie in a risky setting?) Bridgette's bonus was exactly what I expected (oddly enough) and it was great. And Sebastian is somehow the worst and best character all at the same time. He's actually got me laughing in a few scenes now. The first time was in the rare bonus scene in Chapter 4 with Lola. I swear no one has mentioned it yet, but his skills are hilarious to me. I almost want to throw him a bone. Almost. Anyways, I loved it all dsp3000. I'm fishing for a negative but I don't really have any that come to mind content wise right now. Maybe a bit more game over situations, but I could've just missed most of them. As I hear, ADwB will be mostly be the same, am I right? I loved the date (especially the ending), but I'm really waiting for that alternative Thursday evening. Hopefully the wait won't be too long, but no rush as usual.

I have gotten to the principal Valentine bonus scene it might have been by accident anyway I was wondering that the 5th and 6th achievement were without giving anything away I found a different path but my computer locked up and I can not get back on it. thanks
