[New Files!] Vertical and Wall Mounted helmet stands have been added to the January Specialist Rewards!
Added 2023-01-24 15:50:37 +0000 UTCThis has been a highly requested one and I myself have been having trouble finding places to put all my helmets. So I set out to make the simplest and easiest to print helmet stands!
These files include both a wall mounted and vertical standing version. Both require no supports to print!
Both use a 7/8" diameter wooden dowel as the center rod to minimize printing time and for strength. If any metric people have requests for hole sizes let me know and I can add some variants!
I originally tried rounded tops but quickly found that multiple soft points worked best for orienting the helmet. The vertical stand also includes a version for helmets that are more front heavy like the Medieval Helmets.
The wall mounted one has holes pre-cut for #8-10 screws.
