November 2023 Production Update

I’m currently working on a pair of 50 Ways to Die in Minecraft videos that I plan to release to the public in early June next year, although you patrons will get to see them whenever they’re finished. One is going to be about RL Craft, and one is going to be about Create+. I’m currently working on the clips that I’m going to use to make the final edit of both. I’ve already finished all the clips that I’ll need to make the RL Craft video, but I’m still working on the clips for the Create+ video.
It’s been going pretty slowly this month since I needed another week to finish that one clip I mentioned was taking so long last month. Also, there’s another clip on which I’ve already spent 2 weeks of October just doing the prep work and haven’t even started recording anything yet. The good news is that this new big clip is going to have about 25 deaths in it, so in the long run, I think the time I spend on it will be worth it.
If you were wondering why the stats below indicate that I’m aiming for 80 clips for the Create+ video instead of the usual 60, that’s because this big scene with 25 deaths in it would have taken up half of the whole video if there were only 50 deaths in the Create+ video, so, in order to prevent my audience from feeling cheated by making what is essentially just one joke take up half the video, I’m going to make the Create+ video have around 70 ways to die instead (it’ll still be called “50 Ways to Die”, though, I’ve got to keep branding in mind).
So for November, I’m going to keep working on the Create+ mod clips, starting with completing the 25-death clip. Once they’re done, I’ll begin work on the main edits of both the RL Craft video and the Create+ video.
