bit of an update on my situation:

 For the last few months I've been going through some issues with wacom and their cintiqs. Start back in the summer of last year I called in for a rma as the scratch on the inside was bothering me. This was the second one they sent after the initial one I bought had dead pixels...looked like small black eggs on the screen was odd... but the second one I try for a while to work with it and I just couldnt. I Thought it was a hair n it would just fall over time when I got the second one but it never did. It was almost dead center of the screen.

But back in the summer 2019 I called in told them I couldnt work with this anymore, the guy claimed it was dust on the inside and that it didnt violate the quality policy of wacom. And wouldnt send an rma after I sent in the pictures of it. Few months later The screen edges started to tint and change colors. It had a pink tone to it on both sides of the screen and the blacklighting was bleeding through. They then sent me the return label. That was back in October. I got it repaired was happy as could be when I got it back in November. I check for the same issues to be sure. Come Dec I decided to change my desktop background to solid black as I often do to lessen the stress on my eyes. But when doing so I noticed white spots all over the screen. Top bottom left n right the entire screen had white spots. Did the whole thing over for the rma sent pics go back and forth yada yada yada. There is a 90 day guarantee on the repair as I was told by a rep before so they paid for the shipping and such. During the December bit I had tried to work on my ipad and I bought a surface pro 7 to try to keep things going but the surface kept dying within 3hrs using photoshop. Was great otherwise but I only got it for photoshop so I returned it. On Monday of this week I received brand new cintiq. Not a repair. BRAND NEW. And it had the same exact issues as the one I sent in. White spots on the screen it also had light bleeding. And this was directly out of the box turn on to see if it was good.
And redid the whole thing. Sent in pics 24hrs later they told me they didnt get them I sent them in again got confirmation they received them that time another 24 hours and got the rma. I left a lot out but these are the main events. And now the cintiq is in transit back to them.

While a cintiq pro can be a good investment for art purposes when stuff like this happens it can have a devastating hit on your life if your sole income is art. I was told yesterday by a rep that he noticed a certain line of products have been having issues but he wouldnt say directly that it was the pro 24 line as that's all over the net now. Its disappointing that they charge as much as they do and ship out shitty quality products. I did ask during that conversation if it was shipped from third party vendors but said no its directly from wacom.
But its going to take about another 2 weeks for them to send another. So I’m using my ipad for the time being. So please note the heavy work will be delayed until this whole debacle is finished.
