ShoH Update (October #1)
Added 2019-10-07 18:48:53 +0000 UTCHi everyone, I've been working hard on ShoH this past week! I've added about 6,000 or more words to Chapter 2 as well as the newspaper to the day off sequence and a dream sequence in Chapter 1. This brings us up to 165,000 words for the project so far, not including code, and not including scraps and segments I've written of future chapters.
Put another way, the first 3 chapters of ShoH are longer than The Grapes of Wrath, The Two Towers, and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and are more than The Hobbit and Frankenstein combined.
Yikes!
Another thing to note: I'm moving to NYC for about half a year starting in December; it's a sort of work-abroad opportunity for me before I start law school next year. It won't interfere with working on ShoH at all, as I have little to prepare besides packing a few suitcases, but my social calendar will be crammed until then! I'll continue working on ShoH at a steady clip (which I've been very happy with) but I won't have much time to be online. Just as a heads up for anyone wondering why asks and messages on Tumblr have slowed down!
