Heya, could we have one fluffy fact for all the ladys please 🙏 thank you

Shery: no one knows this, but Shery has a very soft pink blanket that she loves to sleep with--it makes her feel comfortable and safe and she loves it! After several years, it becomes very worn despite her best efforts... but after MC starts sleeping in her bed or leaving her shirts behind, Shery doesn't need it anymore. It is, however, stored in a box on the shelf of her closet in the case that any future children might want it! 👀

Tallys: few know this because she's not so vocal, but Tallys has a very lovely singing voice, and her home is filled with sunshine and the sound of her humming softly to herself when she's at her happiest and most content. She'll even hum a lullaby to MC to lull them back to sleep after a nightmare!

Ayla: she likes to do kiss sneak attacks where she kisses MC very suddenly and when they're least expecting it! Sometimes it's a bit forceful, like she grabs their head and yanks it around to her, but she's got the spirit of it! Other times she pretends to not see MC is expecting a kiss (like if MC leaned forward at a romantic moment, she'd be like, "oh my shoe's untied", disappoint them briefly, and then surprise attack them!)

Briony: she loves to hold babies and toddle them on her hip (and smell them. Babies smell so good), and one time MC caught her giggling to a baby "ooh I hope MC's and my baby is just as cute as you!!!" 😍 She literally does that every time she holds a baby 😆

Lavinet: one of the things she's most excited for after falling in love with (and eventually marrying) MC is designing a new household seal that incorporates both him and her--Lockwood's insignia is a thorny rose, but she would want MC's symbol in there too as a combined insignia, and once that was designed, she'd put it on EVERYTHING. Throw pillows? Their household symbol. Banners? Symbol. Those wax seals you use for letters?? Symbol! It'd be like living in a shrine to MC-Lavinet merch. She'd take so much satisfaction every single time she did something as mundane as mailing out an envelope and saw that seal! 

What’s something small that our brightburner can do that just makes each shepherd feel all warm and gooey inside?

Blade: hold his hand and bring it up to nuzzle at it with your cheek, make him cup your cheek, or kiss it softly!

Trouble: trace your fingers along his arm, shoulders, small of his back, or stomach absent-mindedly!

Tallys: refill her herbal and medicinal bottles when you notice they're getting low, without even telling her!

Shery: look deep in thought, then suddenly notice her and smile brilliantly, unexpectedly! Also, make her lunch and leave it for her to find the next day when you know she'll be busy!

Riel: leave a small love note like "I love you!" or "You can do it!" on his desk for him to find, maybe even with a piece of pick-me-up candy!

Chase: grab his arm randomly, lift it, and place it around you, either over your shoulders or wrapped around the small of your back! He'll scream internally out of love!!!

Red: bring up something he briefly mentioned a long time ago in conversation, or just otherwise indicate how much you listen and are interested in what he says!

Ayla: catch her eye and wink at her from across the room! Instant KO!

Briony: play her ponytail absently or teasingly, or walk up and rub her shoulders without being asked!

Lavinet: surprise her with a small, random gift when she's least expecting it, like bringing her flowers suddenly one day!

What are the Shepherds favorite ways to show intimacy (sexual or non-sexual)?

Blade: most of his intimacy comes through touch, so like brushing the hair off MC's cheek, pinching her cheek, kissing her hand, kissing the top of her head, snuggling, that kind of thing!

Trouble: bathing together, cooking together, napping together, spooning, basically anything that involves doing domestic and touchy-feely things together!

Tallys: having her own secret language with her partner, the kind where you can have a whole conversation with just a look, a nod, a twitch of the mouth or a motion of the head. That's true intimacy for her, as well as just being able to be open and communicative emotionally!

Shery: sharing things like clothes, food, drinks, makeup, and even eating off of the same fork or taking a sip out of the same glass are all very intimate for her! Imagine MC putting lipstick on, and then handing it to Shery for her to do the same thing! She'd die! It's so intimate! 

Riel: sitting together in comfortable silence, often while doing different things, but still feeling close to one another is an intimacy that means a lot to him. Also, being honest, especially about difficult emotional topics. That can be hard for him to broach, so when he does it, the person in question is truly someone he loves and admires and respects.

Chase: sleeping together (literally, not sexually). He rarely sleeps around purely-sexual partners and either just hangs out and stays awake (if he stays the night) or just outright bails and goes home after the act. Sleeping together with MC in bed is just another way to show the total trust, intimacy, and closeness they have!

Red: helping each other with things like taking off the other person's shoes, putting a bandaid on the other person's cut, carrying the other to bed and tucking them in, etc., is very intimate for him! Also, reading out loud to each other is very special time together, in his mind!

Ayla: staring is a very intimate thing for her. Like, really staring, taking each other in, taking inventory, going over each other's bodies and every feature with patient thoroughness--she acts embarrassed by it, but it is almost more intimate to her than sex itself!

Briony: casual physical affection is intimacy for her; nonchalantly twining their arms together, jostling or tickling, nuzzling or cuddling together under a cloak, sitting in laps, etc. It doesn't necessarily mean romantic all the time, but it does mean intimacy. Playing with her hair is also very intimate for her and always makes her blush!

Lavinet: helping to put his clothes on before the day starts, like holding out his jacket for him to shrug into, fixing or tying his tie, that kind of thing! Also, letting him brush her hair!

In the Dark AU, are there any chances for a romance between MC and the ROs? If so, how would it be like?

Hi Jazz, thanks for your question, I hope your May is going well too! And great question!

Blade: his ideal home would be either on the outskirts of a city (like in the mountains while the city is down below) or secluded in the wilderness; it would be big enough to accommodate everything he needed, such as a training room to practice his forms or meditate, but would otherwise be clean, spartan, free of clutter, and faintly aesthetic in the Ket way. Pretty much like a minka, but very private!

Trouble: I don't think he gives much thought to his ideal room other than not wanting it to be leaky or cold. Really, living in an apartment/flat in the city all his life would suit him just fine! I think he would give a farm a try but would get bored after like a month. I could see him liking warm tones, maybe a brick fireplace, and a tiny workshop for him to mess around with stuff and having a window to crack open to let out the smoke, but other than that, he doesn't much care! He'd prefer for it to be fairly noisy, cozy, and crowded with people (whether friends or children or both) nearly at all times!

Tallys: it's not realistic at all, but she'd love a remote, traditionally-styled Elven forest house, AKA a house built up inside a giant tree. (Yes, I stole the idea from Tolkien, but who hasn't.)

It would just be very cozy and secluded and would make her feel very safe from the outside world and just in a bubble of love and comfort. The house would have a retractable staircase to make it defensible, and ideally an open space nearby to either grow a garden or let her ahfuri stretch. There'd be herbs and potted plants on every windowsill, and it would generally be very witchcore/nature witch! One must is that there's plenty of light, preferably in the east, so she can do her dawn prayers and meditation!

Shery: I think she'd love either a large flat or one of those narrow townhouse in the city--I think too large a place would overwhelm her. Barring that, I think she'd love a cutesy little cottage on the outskirts of a country town somewhere, a place where you could bake fresh bread and leave pies in the window and make handmade flower wreaths to put over the mantle. Also very pastel and cute and cottagecore, and preferably with lots of pink and white!

Riel: I think he'd want a mansion in the city (pretty much where he lives now), but it'd be more staid and reserved than Lavinet's ideal estate. (It'd still be pretty fuckin' big, though.) It would be big enough to have lots of room, quiet enough to feel peaceful and private, but not so big that it feels lonely or dark. He'd definitely need at least four rooms for his work: workshop, study, library, receiving room, but everything else would be rather perfunctory: no wasted space or frivolities he'd never use, like a ballroom. He can't stand clutter and obsesses over clean, straight lines, so everything would be white and neat and just so.

Chase: he'd definitely need to live in the city, but where, he doesn't particularly care. You could stick him in the attic on top of a theatre, the supply closet of a restaurant, a hammock in the rafters of a warehouse, he doesn't really give a shit lol. Actually, he'd probably not be in a basement or underground (it makes his nightmares worse), and he'd prefer a space to wash up and bathe. Other than that, whatever! I guess mold or pests would bum him out. If you really strong-armed him, he'd probably like a sleek, luxurious flat or large apartment with nice furnishings, but he doesn't really have any requirements for that in mind other than a lot of surfaces to **** on! He's a simple guy... And preferably high up and with lots of windows to look out at the lights of the city!

Red: I'm torn on him, I feel like he'd be equally happy in a spacious, brick townhome (or is it townhouse? does it matter) in the city, or in a cozy, crammed cottage in a smaller town, like the one he grew up in! Whichever it would be, he would need his own personal workshop/library and a nice big bathtub to soak in after a long day. He thinks he would want a garden, but it would quickly run wild because he'd neglect it due to being wrapped up in books for like three days straight. In either the townhouse or the cottage, it would definitely be a kind of "Howl's Moving Castle" disaster vibe where it's messy but you know where everything is!

Ayla: I think she'd be truly happy with a rustic ranch/farmhouse-style house. Maybe not right away--when she's older and doesn't have that much work to do--but I think she'd love a self-sustaining, open area with a windmill, a barn, and lots of pastures, preferably beneath a mountain range and within walking distance to at least a small town. Ideally, it'd also be someplace quite windy, and it would be so fun for her to sometimes sleep in the hayloft of the barn after watching the stars through the slats in the roof!

Briony: I think she would definitely want a large city apartment/town house in her active years--it would be bright, homey, and filled with mementos from her travels, adventures, and missions over the years. It would be large enough to entertain all of her friends comfortably with a big dining room and living room, but otherwise fairly cozy; if a space is too big, she starts to fill it with clutter. She'd also want a really luxurious bathroom!

In her retirement years, though, I could see her wanting a house near the beach or on a seaside cliff, buffeted by the winds and spray and filled with lots of colorful flowers. It would be so cozy during storms, and during the day she could leave all the windows to let the light and fresh air in. She might even have a little boat that she could carry down to the shore to sail! She'd get lonely if her friends or at least a large town wasn't nearby, though!

Lavinet: AN ESTATE, DARLING. A CHATEAU AT THE VERY LEAST. It must have at least two gardens with ample room for a gazebo and a sculpture garden. And if it doesn't have at least ONE ballroom she will literally scream. Two are preferable. And by God, give her a parlor facing the east (ideal lighting) or nothing at all. (Seriously, though, she has to live at least near a major city--she had enough of the "country" in Lockwood--and while she can compromise on not having a garden--although there will be tears--she absolutely 100% has to have a large entertainment space like a ballroom.) Her library can double as her parlor, but she will wince!

Not gonna lie, Chandry is my bff. 😂 What does Chandry think of each Shepherd? If MC is romancing one of the ROs, which ones would bff Chandry approve/not approve of?

Hahaha, I'm going to let Chandry answer these for me... spoiler alert, Chandry likes pretty much everybody because that's just how he is!

Blade: he LOVES Blade and idolizes him and gets so excited whenever he sees him; however, he often notices that Blade is quiet and preoccupied, and that he works too hard, and he tries to cheer him up in his own way!

Romanced!Blade: HE WOULD BE SO EXCITED if the Hero of Haven and the Commander of the Shepherds fell in love with each other! SUCH IS THE SUBJECT OF AN EPIC PLAY!!! *whips out his pen*

Trouble: he LOVES Trouble because Trouble treats him like he's totally normal and barely even notices the clown stuff. He just shows up at Chandry's stall and is like "sup Chandry my man, got any good guns in today??" And they shoot the shit and banter just like he would with any vendor. However, Trouble is often blunt when Chandry is carrying (in his opinion) subpar weaponry, so sometimes Chandry gets very dramatic and woeful around him.

Romanced!Trouble: he would be very excited if they got together and would beg for an invitation to the wedding (even before MC and Trouble contemplated getting married). He'd also ask to be the godfather of the kids LOLLLL he's very adamant that Trouble and MC's kids would be supernaturally cute!

Tallys: Tallys has little tolerance for Chandry on most days; he means well, he's just so...... bright and loud and him that having him yell in her ear constantly gives her a headache. So they don't have that much interaction, and Chandry doesn't really know who she is because she generally avoids his stall and is quiet and keeps to herself when she does lol.

Romanced!Tallys: thumbs up from Chandry!!! (But which one is she again? OH YES! The mysterious Elven lady! What a prize you've won, my dear Shepherd friend!!! *covers it up nicely*)

Shery: [SPOILERS] I mean, this is awkward, and if you've read one of the day offs where Chandry mentions Shery... you know why. He idolizes her and had a huge crush on her before finding out she likes women (if MC bothers to tell him). Even after that, he still really, sincerely loves her and respects her, and is careful not to make her feel uncomfortable because even he is aware of how over-the-top he gets sometimes. But he still think she's a saint and the kindest, prettiest, daintiest woman he's ever seen!

Romanced!Shery: he would cry and wail quite a lot upon finding out Shery and MC are together after he gets over his crush on her, mostly just out of happiness for them. If you're romancing Shery in the game, you can see his reaction by telling him that you're in a relationship with her and see what he does lol!

Riel: Chandry knows of Riel, and Riel knows of Chandry, but if you think he'd get caught dead shopping at a stall run by a literal clown while he's the master of Merchants Guild, you've got another think coming?? Also, while they've never met in person, Chandry has a weird grudge against Riel and is threatened by him 1) because Riel can provide steeper discounts to the Shepherds than Chandry can, and 2) Riel is publicly seen as close to Shery, which, before Chandry figures out that Shery's a lesbian, feels threatening to him and he sees Riel as a rival (Chandry's gaydar is all kinds of off). So he doesn't like Riel very much, but they've never met so he can voice his displeasure to him in person!

Romanced!Riel: Chandry's face would fall, and he would be like, "Oh... is that so..." 

He'd be civil about it enough, especially to MC, but Riel would likely go through their whole wedding with the sense that a clown is watching him from the distance like

Chase: he loves Chase! Chase is very great fun, and he's always willing to laugh at Chandry's antics. He is also shockingly pretty, and for whatever reason, Chandry buys into whatever lies, fibs, and exaggerations Chase tells about himself, serving as his #1 fanboy like "Master Trinaeste!!! You're so cool!!! 😊" whenever Chase says something obviously fake or dumb lol!

Romanced!Chase: Chandry would be over the moon if MC and Chase got together, though he would either privately caution MC that people are so magnetically drawn to Chase and just want to jump his bones so bad that life could become inconvenient for them (obviously one of Chase's lies, if you can't tell...) or saying to Chase in front of MC, "But I thought you said if anyone ever married you, they'd die because your sexual energies are so strong that 24/7 exposure is actually lethal??"

Red: Red spends far too much time trying to figure Chandry out--where does he come from? why does he speak like that? what... is all of this?--instead of just accepting that he is what he is. They're friendly with each other, and Chandry likes him, but Chandry finds that Red stares at his face a little too much... (Ironic)

Romanced!Red: he'd be like "great!!!! so glad he could get over his crush on me to fall in love with you!!!" Red: "wait, wha--"

Ayla: she doesn't have much interaction with Chandry (she hates shopping and just uses the Shepherd equipment when she can), so he doesn't know much about her. He likes her, though! He's winsomely unaffected by her gruff attitude, so while she might poke fun at him more than what could be considered as strictly friendly, Ayla tolerates him!

Romanced!Ayla: he'd be like cool, awesome! 👍 

Briony: he loves Briony, especially her pink hair, though he offended her once because he thought it was a wig and tried to touch it! Actually, a lot of Chandry's jokes read as either somewhat irritating or offensive to Briony; she tolerates him and is generally kind to him, but won't hesitate to tell him to back off if he's being a little too much at the moment! He still loves her, though!

Romanced!Briony: he would be so happy and would immediately ask if their kids would have pink hair too (he really is obsessed with colorful hair... it's the cotton candy in his clown DNA)

Lavinet: like Riel, Lavinet has never had any interaction with Chandry and actually doesn't even know who he is; it's just one of those things where she's never heard anyone mention him or didn't register it... so they don't know each other!

Romanced!Lavinet: Chandry would be like :O at Lavinet's noble beauty... he'd be so in awe of MC for winning the heart of a "princess" and would insist it's just like a romantic poem!

Can I sneak Croelle in here too? Get Chandry's reactions for him as well?

Croelle terrifies him, as he terrifies pretty much everybody. They don't have much interaction, but Chandry saw him slouching down the street a few times and went pale. That man just radiates a pure aura of evil. He would have a very dramatic reaction if MC said they were dating him, lol. It's like you told him that MC was dating Satan 😂 "My Shepherd friend!!! That devil has sunk his hooks into your soul?? do not forfeit your virtue for the temptations of that fiend!!!"

If by some turn of events the MC managed to knowingly get into a relationship, romantic or otherwise, with an endarkened how would the other shepherds react?

For thoroughness's sake, here's ROs' reactions to MC having sex with an Endarkened!

As for reactions to MC getting into a relationship with an Endarkened, sadly, it's going to be a dealbreaker for all parties involved. There's really no way to convince a normal resident of Blest that being with a demon in any capacity except unwilling is okay; that's just how it is in that world. So absolutely no one would accept that. At best, MC would be disowned from the Order; at worst, someone tries to kill them to keep the corruption from spreading (Halek, though he can't really help it). It's pretty much revulsion and anger all around!

Saw this on another blog but how would the ROs react to an oblivious MC they are crushing on trying to set them up with other members of the order? Like for example, an MC who Lavinet has a major crush on is telling her one day "you know, I think you and Staghead would be great together. I'm sure you'll get over the antlers pretty quick!" I'm sure Lavinet would be like 🤦‍♀️ and thinking to herself "why am I in love with an idiot" lol

To answer your question:

Blade: he's not really used to that much physical contact, so he likely wouldn't be that good of a full-body masseuse (he is good at foot and scalp rubs, though). I think he'd be too nervous to massage MC without worrying if he's hurting her, but he's happy to reciprocate too! All in all I think he'd prefer getting a massage from MC over giving one!

Trouble: he'd love both!

Tallys: she'd prefer giving, but certainly wouldn't mind receiving!

Shery: she'd enjoy both, but her massages to MC might be a bit too soft at first!

Riel: he doesn't like massages, so he'd neither give nor receive lol

Hoi! I just wanted to clarify if MC’s entire village disappeared (like the trees, houses, etc, water etc) or was it just the people? Also, if it’s too spoilery of an ask, feel free to just ignore it, but will we ever get a chance to revisit it with the other shepherds?

Hi there, thanks for your question! All of MC's home village disappeared--there's just a big crater where it used to be, as if a comet had hit but hadn't left a trace-- even some of the earth itself got scooped up along with the houses, trees, etc.! But due to the timing, most people assumed it was the work of the demons when they first came back to Blest--there was a lot of destruction going on around that time, so no one really could do much to question it!

And no, the MC will not revisit their hometown in the game, but that doesn't preclude them from doing so "off-screen" during the events of the game or even after with their friends/RO! :)

Great question! The Shepherds eventually figure out that Buubas got killed by some water, but I won't say how! And yup, Blaphemel kept doing his thang and then bounced when the Equalists packed up and moved cities to go do sinister things elsewhere, now that he was strong enough! And in that timeline, he's still somewhere out there in Blest, causing more trouble the same way Jarkyth did...

Okay, I have been going back and reading content, but I'm new so forgive me if I missed this...

I want to know, if we encounter Gladius, does he go after romanced!MC? I did an anonymous ask on this subject detailing a fic I want to write with him, but I don't want to write anything spoilery by accident. That's why I'm asking first. So, do we meet Gladius and does he use romanced!MC against Blade?

Also, feel free to ignore if you don't want this posted, heh. :) I'll just not write the fic to be safe.

Hi, I think I answered your earlier ask you mentioned here!

To answer your question, if you do things right in Blade's character route (romance doesn't matter to do this), you do meet Gladius in the game! However, he does not "go after" romanced!MC or use her in the way that you're thinking! I won't say too much, but while Gladius is willing to do anything to protect the rebellion, it won't be necessary to kidnap or hold MC captive in the situation that they're in. That's all I'll say for now!

Spoiler-y ask so feel free not to answer, but will a certain nefarious character from the past make a reappearance in a certain cat thief's life in the story?

To answer your question, the "certain nefarious character" from Chase's past won't make a physical reappearance for... reasons... but a character closely related to her will, and it's not a fun time for Chase or MC...

Hello! Can we get some information on "Jizania Tiger"? That name is mentioned in the diviner path of chapter 6. I mean the name makes Lavinet and Lady Summerfield go pale, and Lavinet doesn't look like the kind of person to be intimidated easily so it's kinda interesting that she has that reaction. Also whoever or whatever they are, their name is pretty cool not gonna lie.

Hi there, thank you so much for the kind words, you've got a great eye for detail! I actually can't take credit for Jizania Tiger's name--it's an homage to a series of books I read a long time ago, Tanith Lee's The Claidi Journals. Jizania isn't the only minor character I reference from those books, either; there's a character in that same diviner scene briefly named as Nemian, who's also from that series! Their personalities are all very different, though!

Our Jizania Tiger was known as the Autarch's personal lady-knight and champion in the days of her youth. She was handpicked by the Autarch to represent her in jousts, knightly tournaments, and occasionally even military skirmishes and sieges. To the nobles of the land, she's known far and wide as being a ferocious, iron-willed woman who out-fought and bested the men of her generation--it's said she even killed a man with her spear for dishonoring her at a feast! She actually has a different last name--she's by birth Jizania Goldenlake--but the "kids" (Lavinet's generation) and most of the commonfolk call her Jizania Tiger behind her back, because the standard she wore into battle and knightwood was a tiger. Notably, she never married or had children. 

Nowadays, she's deep in retirement and nearing one hundred, but the years haven't dulled her strength of character or steely, unsympathetic personality. She's still stands quite tall at 6 feet, and that's with the years wearing her down a bit. She terrorized the children and adolescents of the Sacor court for a long time, lashing them with criticisms--"Stand up straight! Are you trying to make cheese with that rapier? Fix your seat or your opponent will unhorse you and your few brains will be trampled!"--and she's fairly old-fashioned and cantankerous, as well. So Lavinet's generation greatly fears her, and if she's ever called to get involved in a matter, you know 1) things are really bad to necessitate including her and 2) you're about to get your ass roasted by a lady who's so old she's nearly blind. She could probably still put the whoop-ass on one whippersnapper too, if she wanted. So when Lady Summerfield comments that they may call in Jizania to deal with the current problem, that's why Lavinet looks like she wants to 🤢😰

In the Dark AU, are there any chances for a romance between MC and the ROs? If so, how would it be like?

Hi, thanks for your question (I knew something like that would be coming haha). First off, I have to say that for any dark!RO who isn't already trending towards the path of good (Red, Ayla, Briony), it would not be possible for our MC to turn them good with the power of their love. For most of the dark!ROs who have committed to burning the world down or bringing it under their control, there's no turning back, not even for our MC. Similarly, many of them would not be interested in our MC flat-out if our MC wasn't willing to espouse their values and see the world their way (aka, turn dark/evil). Just as how our ROs would never love an MC who advocated evil morals or was a mass killer/dictator, dark!ROs would not maintain a healthy relationship or romance with a heroic!MC who constantly tried to dissuade them from their path or chastised them. It would create conflict, resentment, and hatred--MC hasn't lived their experience in their world, so how dare they try to preach to them? That sort of thing. So I just want to emphasize that. Romanced!ROs love MC a lot, but if they've gotten to that point in the dark timeline, it would be kind of lame if MC loving them made them just change their mind after massacring a lot of people!

So, most dark!RO "romances" would be very unhealthy, and most would be a prisoner/captor dynamic at best. Things would get really dark. If that's not your cup of tea, skip this question!

Blade: I think he would be very cold and cruel to MC to sort of convince himself that he doesn't harbor feelings for her and isn't affected by her, so he would be extra callous in order to sever those ties. They might start a love/hate sexual relationship if he just couldn't help himself and MC was quite clear that she wanted him, but he would be filled with anger and self-loathing about it, like he'd perceive himself as weak for giving in to that part of himself. He'd probably punish MC in passive-aggressive ways for that, like being even colder to her after the fact or avoiding her for several days to keep her wondering if he'll come back. In most scenarios, he would most likely just avoid MC at all costs before it ever got to that point (but probably wouldn't be able to bring himself to kill her outright if they were in a relationship before he went dark. Not unless MC were to seduce him and then try to betray him...). If MC were to somehow turn dark or convince him that she had and switch to his side, he would become very possessive and controlling towards her, fearing that she would either change her mind or be taken away again by the good guys. If that were to happen, I literally think his sanity would snap and he would commit atrocities and willing to kill the whole world to get her back. And then he might kill her, too, if she had deliberately betrayed him.

Trouble: I don't think dark!Trouble would last more than a few days before heroically sacrificing himself for our MC (like jumping in the way of a bullet meant for them), because the idea of romanced!MC being alive again to judge him for his horrible misdeeds would shake him so much that he would literally want to die. So I don't think romance is really that possible between them, because he'd be so ashamed that he wouldn't want to exist in the same timeline as them anymore.

Tallys: she would definitely engage in a sexual relationship with MC if they indicated that they were into that, but only in a scenario where she had full control of the situation--AKA they're under house arrest in her palace, that kind of thing. If they want to meet her somewhere on their turf, she'd definitely be suspicious that it was a trap. As her prisoner, she'd want to make a show of keeping MC as her pet, having them in a collar and sitting beside her while she rules. Eventually, over time, she'd start to soften towards them and would even 'free' them, giving them the choice to walk away and become her enemy, or the option to stay and rule beside her as an equal and a partner. However, for her to do this, MC will have had to display unfaltering loyalty and love, and there would always be an aspect of "she's still keeping her eye on you" between them. But there's a chance for a fucked up kind of love there eventually, yes!

Shery: dark!Shery in this timeline likely wouldn't be that affected by MC showing up, but also probably because she wouldn't be a dictator, she'd just be vibing on her own somewhere. She'd likely only be interested in a physical relationship, because dark!Shery is only out for herself, so she'd be frank that she's only using MC for MC's body and to satisfy her own needs. The most they could progress to is her caring if MC comes, but it would never become an intimate relationship: she would never sleep in her bed, she would be putting her clothes on as soon as they finished, that kind of thing. She wouldn't be interested in talking to MC about anything deep, just a "shut up and fuck me" kind of dynamic, and she'd be kind of mean to them outside of that!

Riel: no chance of a romantic or sexual relationship, dark!Riel is literally no longer capable of intimacy or really feelings. Weirdly, he'd sort of care about MC's approval in a strange, roundabout way--he'd be gratified and validated if they agreed with his overall mindset, so it shows he sort of cares about them in that way. But romance or anything like that? No thank you. The best he does for them is leave them alone or warn them to just live out in the wilderness and not bother him or try to interfere. That's more warning than he gives any of his other enemies. But if they didn't listen and insisted on playing the hero, he'd destroy them. He probably wouldn't even cry about it.

Chase: I think a "relationship" with him would be one of the unhealthiest, unless MC is into that. It would be purely sexual, as well as all about power and who has more power over the other. Chase would be obsessed with showing MC that, yes, okay, he wants them, but that doesn't really mean shit and he could end their life in a heartbeat. Add that to the fact that MC would be having sex with someone unhinged and just barely walking the tightrope of absolutely gibbering insane, and there's a HUGE danger element thrown in, too. Sex with dark!Chase would be absolutely brutal, bruising, unrelenting, and unmerciful; he'd use MC's body for hours at a punishing pace, being very dominant and controlling about it; he'd likely tie them up, blindfold them, or make them watch themselves be debased in a mirror while he makes them do all sorts of things for his pleasure. He'd likely be much more selfish about it, too, satisfying himself while consistently denying MC the opportunity to orgasm (another way of showing off his power over them). Even if they begged, he probably wouldn't relent, and if he somehow did, he'd probably threaten them with a knife right after to seize back control. He's... not capable of love or tenderness anymore. His mind is barely tethered by a thin string of cold rage and sadism. So yeah! Sex with a madman!

Red: dark!Red (who's really just rebel!Red) would totally hope for a relationship with MC, but it'd be weird for him because he'd also know that our Red is also around and also presumably in love with MC?? If for some reason MC fell in love with rebel!Red, he'd absolutely reciprocate and it would basically just be like a relationship with ours, except he's a bit more scarred and grizzled and tired. He'd want nothing more than for MC to take his face in their hands and whisper, "You've worked so hard," the way they used to in this timeline. 💔

Ayla: rebel!Ayla would most likely try to avoid our MC, because seeing them alive in her timeline doesn't feel real and she sort of looks away from that in order to push back the pain and grief. If they were insistent on seeking her out, she'd break down in tears in her arms and, in dry, painful sobs, tell them how much she missed them. If our Ayla is around, rebel!Ayla isn't messing around with that and will take a step back and just be happy she got to see MC again. If not, they may start up a relationship, but she also might be too busy fighting the others to be able to focus on romance at the moment!

Briony: if MC were to show up sometime after the point that dark!Briony became a mole for the rebels, there's a chance they could start a relationship! However, dark!Briony would feel wracked with guilt and dirtied by the terrible things she's done, so that would definitely have an impact on their relationship. Random things reminding her of the blood on her hands--a certain child's laugh, the stare of someone who looks like a dead man--could cause her to freeze up, lash out, or avoid MC, feeling angry and underserving of their love. This feeling of shame and inadequacy would persist right up until the part where she sacrificed herself for them. Imagine her being held in MC's arms, bloody, her breath growing fainter, and touching their cheek with her blood-streaked hands and whispering, "I'll always... love you..." as she closes her eyes and finds peace at last.

If MC were to show up when she was truly still villain!Briony, something similar would happen: she'd freeze up in shock, whisper, "No... it can't be..." and then see someone trying to take a potshot at MC and throw herself in the way. So she would sort of redeem herself, but not long enough for them to start a romance!

Lavinet: Lavinet would think that MC was a doppelganger or spy or some trick by the enemy to get her to lower her guard. She'd have him thrown in her dungeons and left to rot for like a month, but after she prepared and composed herself not to show any emotional reaction, she'd finally go down and interrogate him. If she saw that he was the real deal, she'd grow upset and start yelling at him, like, "Why did you have to come back now? Why now? Why couldn't you have just lived?" And would probably throw her chair at the bars of his cell in rage. After that, she'd try to forget about him, but after some time she'd find herself wandering down to the dungeons again and somehow spilling out her worries and troubles regarding her dictatorship. She'd use him as a way to vent, to bounce her ideas off of, in a way that she doesn't do with anybody anymore. It'd be a weird kind of... partnership? If MC was willing to participate in that. However, Lavinet would never trust him (or herself) enough to let him out of that cage. She'd visit... a lot... but that's where their connection ends. She'd probably take a few lovers to her bed to convince herself (and MC) that she doesn't have any feelings for him whatsoever. And if he ever got out of that cage, she would probably devote all her resources to destroying him, because he's still seen her at her most vulnerable, and she can't allow that to come to pass.
