Short Story Poll (Serial #2)

It's time to consider our next serial short story! I hope you guys are still enjoying this format and getting looks into each character's head and perspective, because I certainly am!
Here are just some of the ideas percolating in my head right now: you may notice that some of the pitches have changed from last time, since I've realized since that I couldn't sustain them long enough as-is to make a compelling story! They might come back around in the future, though!

Option A (Project Firewalker): Chase, Briony, and MC's recruit Justyn investigate a string of serial arsons in Ambryn with the help of the city's Fire Brigade. While they pursue the fire-starter, they must also prevent anti-Mage riots from breaking out in a city still raw from rebel Mage and Equalist attacks.
Option B (Project Silent Lamb): Trouble and Riel become embroiled in investigating the gruesome murder of a local boy, and come up against an unlikely enemy that forces them both to contend with their pasts. [Daren may show up, or he may not; TBD.]
Option C (Project Evergreen): Halek, Red, and MC's recruit Ysa return to her hometown of Karzai to investigate the illegal shipment of arcane weapons across the Continent. Unpleasant characters abound.
Option D (Project Royale): Along with MC's recruit Cybele, Tallys is tasked with posing as an Elvish gang leader with powerful connections to a crime syndicate in Haven. To pull off her ruse, she needs Shery's help, especially when the crime syndicate demands for one thing: a valuable artifact from Archmage Tangriel's Vaults.
