Shepherds of Haven: A Modern Retelling (Demo)

Hello everybody! It's my pleasure to release to you the demo that you picked in a poll earlier this month: a college AU of the Shepherds of Haven universe!

And it does: "Haven University" makes me think of "Monsters University"--but that's besides the point! I really enjoyed having fun in this world and setting up the various systems that fuel it, and imagining how everyone would act if they were college students and not, say, angst-ridden assassins and exiled Wind-Mages and tortured Elves and etc. etc.! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

• The demo is 20,000 words. It's obvious a first-draft, slice-of-life demo, so there are a few features missing (mainly the social media page) and implementing things like genderlocks, which I didn't bother with. Shouldn't be any bugs, though!
• Don't forget to check out the achievements list and the stats screen, which has features like your phone (in the future, you can receive texts throughout the game! And people might get mad if you don't text them back in time!) and your photo album, which I'm very proud of! 
• Yes, I am aware that it's sort of weird to present fantasy first names like Hyperia and Kellen and then real-world last names like Nguyen and Santos LOL but I was too attached to our usual names!
• Meta references everywhere, as far as the eye can see...
• It was super weird to introduce the characters as if the reader didn't already know who they were haha, so if those sequences felt a bit strange, they'll hopefully get ironed out sometime in the distant future!
• The RA Shyf Cian is an old character in the ShoH novels, but does not appear in the ShoH game, in case you were wondering who he was!
• As with Soldiers of Hael, I don't know if/when I'll ever be able to expand on this to make a larger story, but for anyone who was wondering: Chandry is the drama teacher in charge of the play, Kortela is the teacher in charge of the newspaper, the Autarch is the dean of the university, and the sports teams' rival schools are the Ambryn Inquisitors and the Downstone Demons LOLLLL 
• I know there is an actual city in the US called "New Haven" (in Connecticut), and you're free to imagine this setting as such, but I was actually thinking of a fictional city more like Boston in size! It doesn't really matter, though!
