ShoH Update (November #1) and Poll

Hi everyone, welcome to your second week of November!

This last week has been full of high emotion and busyness: we in the US had our election, which was a draining but ultimately rewarding experience, while on a personal level, we've been hosting a bunch of family members for an early Thanksgiving (acting COVID-safe, of course), handling the new family pup, Gracie, and lots of work deadlines piled up for me!

Despite it all, I've managed to get some work done on ShoH:

Chase's 2nd day off is done
Ayla's 1st day off is done
Caine's 1st day off is done (and it's extremely wholesome)
Two day offs are now available each time to accommodate for the number of new recruits
The first 3,000 words of Chapter 6 have been written

I'm pretty proud of managing to get that done while everything else was going on! I'm hoping to get Riel's first day off done this month, but that's a stretch goal; and a bit more on Chapter 6 before uploading the whole shebang this month! It was going to be relatively tame to get to Lavinet's fiefdom, but I figure it Halek, Ayla, and Red were going to have a misadventure, Briony, Tallys, and Ayla are going to have one too... 👀

I'm attaching another name poll because I always love seeing what you guys pick and suggest! Lavinet has a lot of people in her life; you guys chose the name Auberon Maisonette as a spurned suitor, and Clara for her lady-in-waiting. How about Auberon's new betrothed, another rival of Lavinet's who does not welcome the Shepherds as warmly as she does and would love to see Lockwood fail?
