Trouble Character Card (WIP)
Added 2021-02-20 19:38:26 +0000 UTCHi everybody, it's been a while since I've heard from our usual tarot card artist: I'm trying to get in touch with her without being a bother, but in the meantime, I just thought I'd share the WIP she did of Trouble's character card! If you remember, she's already done Blade, Red, and she's working on Trouble and Chase. Barring any issues or delays, those latter two should be ready soon. In addition, another artist (the same one who did Briony and Croelle's character cards, mamafuriah), alerted me to the fact that a commission slot I'd reserved with her last year (it's gone by so fast... it was literally like 7 or 9 months ago) is now available! I really like her art style and the way she did Briony and Croelle, so I took the slot and she's now working on Halek's new card. (I know the two artists' styles are slightly different, but I really like both and you can think of it as one of those games where different artists do different cards or art pieces)!
If you're following, here's how the list stands now:
+ Blade (complete)
+ Trouble (in-progress)
+ Tallys (queued)
- Shery (not started)
- Riel (not started)
+ Chase (in-progress)
+ Red (complete)
- Ayla (not started)
+ Halek (in-progress)
- Briony (not started)
- Lavinet (not started)
- Croelle (not started)
- Mimir (not started)
Last time, you voted for Tallys to be up next for her character card to be redone, but since our usual artist works in twos, I thought we should have the other card decided now.
I am considering doing other cards for Caine, Chandry, and Prihine and am still thinking about how these would be unlocked: the other cards pop up in your codex if you max out your relationship with the relevant persons, but Caine, Prihine, and Chandry don't have relationship stats with the MC. Chandry is easier because his card can be rewarded for visiting him the maximum number of times... but also, I don't know what he looks like and don't even know where to start. Plus, do you think these epic tarot card styles could suit a clown? š
Caine is easier as well because, while he doesn't have a relationship stat, he does have day off scenes if he lives and joins the Order, so his card could be a reward for doing those in their totality.
Prihine, I'm not so sure about, because I don't want to punish completionists for not romancing her. Maybe for saving her and getting rid of her husband? That feels a little too easy compared to everyone else's difficulty, but I'll think on it. What do you guys think?
For those who are new here or haven't been following this tier: all of the characters' original character cards have been revealed. It was decided that we should commission redos of these cards to update appearances and make the art styles more consistent, and you can view those below!
Finally, here's a WIP of Trouble's character card so far: (LOOK AWAY IF YOU WANT TO WAIT UNTIL THE FINAL VERSION)

And lastly, let's vote on the next character card you want to see redone along Tallys!
