Short Story Poll (February, #1)
Added 2022-02-01 17:01:04 +0000 UTCHi everybody, I hope you enjoyed the absolute beast of the last serial short story, The Bridge of Bones! At five main parts, it was almost a whopping 60,000 words alone!!! After I wrapped it up, I did chuckle at the idea of MC coming back from, like, Lockwood and being like, "Anything new happen while I was gone?" Trouble and Riel: "Uhhhhhh"
I'm currently feeling a bit tapped dry at the moment after such a monstrously-long project, so I'm not sure if I want to jump right away into another serial story (or at least another really long and serious one like TBoB). So I thought I'd ask you all for your opinion! I've been tinkering around with the idea of maybe, like, writing a short AU story (or series if my imagination is really sparking--maybe a zombie apocalypse AU?) as a break, or maybe another standalone character story, perhaps for Mimir or another less-explored character. Or we could figure out another present-day serial story that's less demanding than an ultra-serious murder mystery!
What do you guys think? What would you want to read next?
