Tokyo Girl [A Man to Japanese Hostess Story] - Finale

Commissioned by Bimboblarg

My sincere apologies for the lateness on this one! It was supposed to be uploaded on the 21st of February, but I misclicked, and it was set to the 21st of March, and I only just noticed! Thank you to the kind commenter who asked!

Nobu felt so bad putting those earrings back in, but we knew it had to be done. I couldn’t return to the Champagne Club without them, and we couldn’t just disappear into the night. No matter how tempting it was. I knew Kenji would hunt me down and somehow drag me back to the club with that shark-like smile on my face. So we’d made a plan, it was risky, but if it worked, I would be free.

I waited, curled up under the covers until mid-morning when everybody was asleep after a hard night’s work. I could hear the gentle snoring of the women around me, and tiredness pulled at my eyes, but I forced my eyes awake. When I was sure the coast was clear, I slipped out of bed and out onto the floor.

Keiko was gone for the evening, but I knew there were security cameras. Silently, I padded along the floor, avoiding their gaze before snipping the wires with a tiny pair of nail scissors. I had just finished snipping the last one when I heard footsteps behind me and froze.

“What are you doing?”

I spun around, hiding the scissors behind my back uselessly as Yuki stared me down. Fumio stood over her shoulder, looking nervous.

“Why are you two awake?”

“We could ask you the same thing,” Yuki replied. “Now, back to my question, what are you doing?”

“I…I’m getting out of here.” I admitted. “You two could escape to, no more debts, you could even take the jewellery off if you want.”

“You found a way?” Fumio said quietly, eyes wide as saucers.

“Nobu and I have a plan. We’re going to find some sort of evidence of the extortion in Keiko’s office.” I explained. “We’ll take them to the authorities. They will shut Keiko and Kenji down.”

“It’ll never work. Nobody will believe it, and even if they do get done for embezzlement or something, we can't talk against him,” said Yuki.

“We can if we take our earrings out. Or rather, get somebody else to.”

Yuki rolled her eyes.

“We’ve tried-”

“Not with somebody not also under Kenji’s control! Nobu took mine out.”

There was silence for a moment before Yuki spoke. Her voice was softer and more hopeful than I had ever heard before.

“You had your earrings out?”

I nodded.

“You idiot! Why did you put them back in?!”

She gripped my shoulders hard enough to hurt.

“You were free! If he could take off the earrings, he could take off your necklace too!”

“I know, but I didn’t want that. Besides, we all know Kenji would just hunt me down. We need to put a stop to this once and for all. Besides,” I shrugged. “I couldn't leave all of you behind.”

Yuki’s cheeks turned pink and she let me go and crossed her arms over her chest, refusing to meet my gaze.

“Fine, I guess we just have to help you then.”

Fumio nodded enthusiastically and we all headed over to the main office. Keiko kept it locked of course, but Yuki proved surprisingly adept at lock picking with just a bobby pin. The door swung open just as the sound of a key in the front door clicked and made us all freeze.

“Shit, there must be some sort of alarm hooked up to the camera.” Yuki swore. “You set it off when you cut the wires.”

“What do we do?”

“Leave it to me.” Fuimo whispered. “I’ll keep her busy, you find what we need.”

With that she disappeared out onto the floor again and Yuki and I quickly jumped into the office. The space was immaculate, of course, Keiko was the kind to keep everything organised, something I hoped would work in our favour. I could hear Fumio distracting Keiko out in the main room, I had no idea what she was saying or how much time we had. Yuki began working on the safe, but all that was inside were a few cheques and the cash from the last few nights.

I rummaged through Keiko’s desk until I found what I was looking for: meticulous records of our pay, or lack thereof. If nothing else, this would get the club investigated. I grabbed the thick folder and, lacking any better ideas, shoved it down my back, securing it against my skin with my bra strap.

Yuki and I had just enough time to slip out of the office and relock the door when the distinctive sound of Keiko’s heels clicking pricked our ears. There was no time to hide, no time to run. Without a word, Yuki flung herself against me, kissing me hard just as Keiko rounded the corner.

“What on Earth?”

We sprung apart like teenagers caught by the principal.

“Save it for the clients, ladies!” Keiko scolded. “What on Earth are you doing here?”

“We can’t exactly fuck in our shared bedroom, can we? Curtains don’t do much to block out noise.”

Yuki said it, so obviously, I almost believed her. I played my part by staying quiet and red-faced, the less I said, the better. Keiko shooed us away, and I did my best to walk without making the papers on my back crinkle. The short walk back to our room felt like it took forever, but when Yuki and I finally made it, we jumped for joy.

“Now what?” She asked excitedly.

“I wait for Nobu to invite me out tonight. He’s put in a request for my very first slow. We’ll leave the club to go get down to business, or at least, that’s what Keiko will think is happening. And we’ll head to the police station.”

“Do you really think the police will help us? What if they don’t believe us?”

I took a deep breath to steady myself and carefully pulled the papers out of their hiding place. I crushed them across my chest in a tight hug against my chest.

“We have to hope.”

Everything moved so quickly after that, it all became a blur. Nobu arrived, and arm in arm, we walked to the police station and handed in the evidence of Kenji’s extortion. And thanks to Nobu’s help removing my earrings, I was able to explain what had happened to me and the other women. Before I knew it, we were back at the club, watching police officers slowly remove earrings and get even more stories. All while Keiko sweated in the corner. Thanks to her perfectionist attitude, all her paperwork was in perfect order, meaning Kenji and her were utterly screwed.

“I can’t believe you did it!” Fumio grinned, “I can’t wait to see that snake get what’s coming to him.”

“Me too.” Nobu nodded. “Now, would you like help with that?”

He pointed to Fumio’s necklace and she gasped, she had been wearing it so long I couldn’t blame her for forgetting.

“The police need some proof that our story about being transformed is true,” I added.

I could see Fumio trembling as Nobu reached around her neck and gently removed the necklace. For a moment, nothing happened, and her face fell, but then her skin began to shift and move.

“Me next!” Yuki yelled, and Nobu obliged.

The complete change took a few minutes, and by the end, the whole room, officers included, were watching with their jaws on the ground. Yuki and Fumio transformed from Japanese beauties into two white Australian backpackers, just like Fumio had described.

“Fucking hell, I’d forgotten what it felt like to have a cock and balls.” Yuki grinned, though thinking of her with that name suddenly felt silly.

“You’re welcome.” I teased, Yuki just crossed his arms and looked away.

“Whatever, thanks, I guess.”

I just looked at Fumio, who was now a blonde, tanned, surfer-looking guy, who just laughed.

“You mean that personality wasn’t the earrings?”

“Not as much as you would think…” Fumio chuckled. “Are you going to get your necklace taken off?”

I touched the little symbol hanging at my throat and thought for a moment before shaking my head. I stepped closer to Nobu, and he wrapped an arm around me, squeezing tight. That feeling of safety washed over me once more; this felt right. I’d been directionless when I first came to Japan, desperately searching for a place to fit in and belong. I’d found it, just not in the way I expected.

The police were going nuts now, helping all those who wanted to change back to do so, and I laughed a little, watching the girls I’d gotten to know turn back into men. A few even stayed women, just like I did. The best moment, though, came when Kenji was dragged out. Keiko, the idiot, had called him when things started going down. Now, he was in handcuffs, swearing his head off about how his friends in high places were going to make us all pay. Nobu held me closer, shielding me from the man’s gaze just to be safe.

The police were rounding up evidence and began bringing out bags and items from the storage room and one caught my eye. My Miku figure, the one I had bought the day Kenji got me. It was still here, haphazardly thrown into the bag like it was junk. While nobody was looking, I grabbed it, brushing away a bit of the dust that had gathered on the detailed skirt.

“This was mine,” I explained with a sad smile.

“It’s gorgeous.” Nobu smiled.

“You think so?”
“Absolutely, who doesn't love Miku these days?”

That warm feeling in my chest bloomed again, and I turned to him.

“Now what?” I asked quietly.

“Now,” Nobu replied. “We go home.”

~

Nobu’s house was simple and small, but instantly, it felt like home. I settled in easily and for the first few days, Nobu and I did nothing but talk and fuck. He wanted to know all about me. The real me, without any mental blocks in the way. A part of me was scared he wouldn’t like me without those peppy, girly parts of myself, but to my delight, he loved me all the same. His first wife had been so dull she’d discouraged any kind of silliness, like watching anime. We spent days curled up on his couch, watching all my favourite shows. I kept waiting for him to get bored but instead, it was Nobu jumping for the remote to get to the next episode half the time.

Being a Japanese housewife was better than I imagined. I spent time learning to cook and clean as thanks for Nobu saving me and found it oddly therapeutic. It felt nice not to have the pressure of being a ‘man’ on my shoulders all the time. Nobody begrudged a beautiful housewife turning on the TV to watch the latest episode of her favourite anime while she chopped carrots. It was a simple life but a good one. I even got to watch my favourite shows air live now!

“I’m home!”

“In the kitchen! I made nabe!”

Nobu stepped in and immediately loosened his tie, walking up behind me and hugging me tight around the waist.

“I can’t believe how lucky I am. I get you, and a beautiful meal every day, and I don’t even have to pay anymore.”

I snorted and turned to kiss him, running my fingers up the back of his neck.

“Speaking of, though, I thought of something fun we can do tonight.”

“Oh?”

I reached into my apron and pulled out a familiar pair of earrings, and waggled my eyebrows.

“I thought maybe you’d like your girly girl back, just for a night.”

I could tell he was tempted but Nobu hesitated.

“Are you sure?”

“I trust you, Nobu,” I whispered. “Now, shall we?”

He slipped the earrings through my lobes, and instantly, I felt that persona slip into place. My body burned with need twice as strongly, and I moaned.

“Come on, fella.” I winked. “Let me take care of you.”
