Old Albert is a man from the land of Alesia, an enchanted kingdom founded by a witch's sabbath who fled the intolerance of the church and the cruelty of the inquisitors several hundred years ago.
He lived then, and still lives today, in the village of Gueldeboi. Famous for its cervoise and Sheeping breeding.
In the beginning, old Albert lived alone, with no family and living off what he hunted. He often poached in times of famine, to help needy villagers.
Albert's sole aim was to help others, without ever taking much time for himself or starting a family.
He had resigned himself to living alone like this, until one dreadful winter famine, when he found a baby abandoned at the foot of a tree while he was poaching.
An adorable little girl shivering with cold, he tucked her into his warm animal-skin coat and took her home.
At first, he tried to find a good family for the child, but in times of crisis, no one wanted to take on the responsibility of an extra mouth to feed.
Times were hard, but no matter, if no one wanted to adopt the girl, he would take care of her.
He gave her food, a roof over her head and the name of Enora. Albert had no experience of fatherhood, but he did his best and gave his new daughter all the love of a real father.
However, as the years went by, he soon noticed that Enora was growing abnormally faster than average.
At the age of 6, little Enora was already over 5 meters tall and still growing. It had become difficult for old Albert to provide for his daughter, but despite everything, he carried on, even if it meant depriving himself for her sake.
Enora understood this and didn't want her father to go to so much effort for her. She had started working at a very young age to earn a little money and help her father. She did everything in her village : harvesting, planting, chopping wood, watering the fields and carrying heavy loads that no normal man could lift.
She did all this in record time, and the older she grew, the more services she provided for the villagers.
As the years went by, Enora brought in more and more money for her various jobs, and the village prospered thanks to her. Her father had built his own inn to provide a sustainable and honest trade. He had also built a gigantic barn next door, which served as his daughter's bedroom.
Enora is now 16, over 15 meters tall and the pride of the whole village, but especially of her father. They both live a peaceful life, and the village never again experiences a famine crisis.
Thanks to Enora, there was never a shortage of grain, and the surplus was sold to neighboring villages. Enora was loved throughout the region, and perhaps one day she would find the great love of her life.
In the meantime, life went on and so did the work, but whatever happened, Enora and her father would be there for each other.
