Description:

SCP-8045-B was originally a 25-year-old human female measuring 1.65 m. She came into contact with SCP-8045, a meteorite of unknown origin. During this event, the subject was thrown several metres into the air, resulting in the total and irreparable destruction of SCP-8045.

Transported to hospital, SCP-8045-B quickly manifested significant mutations during her convalescence. In less than 48 hours, her height increased by 40 cm, a phenomenon described as abnormal by Foundation physicians. The subject's uncontrolled growth made her confinement difficult and required immediate scientific intervention.

Two weeks after the incident, SCP-8045-B reached 4.45 m in height and showed steady progression in stature. Over the following weeks, she had to be transferred three times to successively larger containment cells in order to meet her space requirements.

Growth finally appeared to stabilise 2 months and 12 days after initial exposure, at an estimated final height of 16.02 m. This development led to further complications regarding clothing and facility adaptation.

Behaviour:

Since stabilising in size, SCP-8045-B has shown no signs of aggression. She remains cooperative with the Foundation and obeys within acceptable limits. The Ethics Committee has recommended a reassessment for potential reclassification to Class Safe.

It was initially suggested that only female staff be employed in order to preserve her privacy. However, SCP-8045-B has objected to this measure. She appears to have a particular interest in a Class D staff member assigned to cleaning her oversized cell. Management has chosen to tolerate this situation as long as it does not compromise the subject's safety or cooperation. Any attempt to restrict this interaction could alter her behaviour and hinder her collaboration with researchers.
