Goodies, holidays, heatwave, and changes, oh my!
Added 2015-07-03 08:07:23 +0000 UTCAll the July goodies are on their way as of today (apart from a few from whom I haven't heard back yet)! It's over forty packages by now, so I hope you'll forgive me that I couldn't add much personal stuff. ;) At the moment, it's just too hot for much art. 38°C yesterday was too much! I'll be on holiday from July 5th to July 13th - Hamburg and a pony farm, XD - and I'll take all my art materials and hope to get a lot of stuff done over those days (such as the commissions for the Wanderer tiers). Look forward to new art mid-July! A few changes to pledges and the raffle are coming soon, now that I have had three months of Patreon experience and know how much time, material and postage goes into everything. It's probably going to be slightly more stuff for you at longer intervals, saving me postage and packaging times, plus some more digital content. There'll also be a change to the raffle - mostly, the original artwork will be replaced by a second commission, plus more small goodies. Feel free to weigh in then!

Long time rewards would be awesome! What about saving up commissions for a more complex commission down the road? For example, at my level I normally get one pencil portrait every 4 months. May I save up 2 commissions for a full figure pencil drawing or a watercolor portrait? or exchange 4 commission "slots" for a full figure watercolor or two figure pencil drawing etc etc. Obviously this is just an example but it's an idea!

2015-07-16 20:19:09 +0000 UTCNo worries! International postage is the same everywhere - whether I send to the Netherlands (which is so close I could throw it) or Korea, it's all the same price!

2015-07-13 18:50:58 +0000 UTCI am an American living in Canada, and thus get mail from the States quite frequently. I find it amusing that mail gets to me faster from Germany, than from my mom just across the boarder. Thanks for the post card!

2015-07-09 12:57:55 +0000 UTCI like the idea of long time rewards - and now that I know almost everyone who supports me here is prepared to stay for a while, I'll definitely think about that! Shipping out everything in one batch is actually easier for me. So the huge shipping action every two months is better than smaller shipping actions every month.

2015-07-03 15:58:02 +0000 UTCYou could consider setting up the mailed rewards in such a way, you'll won't have to mail out to all tiers at once in a month, but spread it out over several months. Like tier A will have goodies mailed to them on month a, tier B will have them mailed to the on month b. In that way, should not be over 40 packages in one month lol You could also consider coming up with some long time rewards, like for supporting over a longer period of time. And you're right, Haflingers are so much better than cows lol

2015-07-03 12:14:58 +0000 UTCDon't worry. As long as Jenny uses her regular envelopes she won't come close to the patronages eligible for postcards ;) But if you haven't done so already you could give Jenny your address in Chinese characters. That way mail will arrive much faster than when using the Latin alphabet.

2015-07-03 10:36:22 +0000 UTCI'm sure Maedhros should be faster! The pony farm was my idea. I'll scare them, and then take reference photos for battle scenes. :D ... or not. But I loved the idea. I'd been looking for farm holidays, and when I saw the pony one, I thought, who needs cows anyway? Bring on the Haflingers!

2015-07-03 09:51:31 +0000 UTCThe postcards are every second (uneven) month, so you're getting your first ones now! No worries :) And we have only two postage rates - Germany and overseas, so China shouldn't be any different from the Netherlands, UK, USA, or Arabian Emirates. ;) I'm sure we'll be fine!

2015-07-03 09:50:02 +0000 UTCActually I hope to get more digital stuff than having you mail accross the world... Actually I'm worrying wether the postage to China goes higher than my patronage! please let me know if that happens!

2015-07-03 09:35:02 +0000 UTCI didn't receive the postcard of June, do you think it may get lost on the way to China?

2015-07-03 09:30:27 +0000 UTCSounds all fantastic except for the 38°C :D ... I wish you lots of fun on your holiday (Was the pony farm the idea of your daughter? ^^)! ... And I'm excited to see who is faster - you back from your holiday or Maedhros in my letterbox. Postal workers still on strike here.
