Back from holiday!

It's weird that I have the patience and motivation to draw when I'm surrounded by thirty teenagers, but not with my hubby and two kids around. The biggest problem was perhaps that it was so cold and wet that sitting anywhere without a woollen blanket just wasn't an option, and that the first youth hostel already wreaked havoc on my back. :/
But well, now I have my comfy art chair and desk back, as well as my house where I can turn the heating on when I'm cold (even when the calendar says it's July), and I plan to make GOOD progress with everything over the next few days!
Apart from the bad weather, we had a great time - I've been sat on by lorikeets and lemurs, cuddled horses and ponies and dogs, and the kids were absolutely happy.
