I like his scabbard and the pouch on his belt. And I'm glad you like having some short-haired elves (I'm still kinda partial to your short-haired Maedhros). For all that the elves appreciated beautiful hair, I imagine some of them have to prefer something other than long flowing locks. Maybe every few millennia they get fed up with the upkeep and chop it all off. Plus, it's hard to run through forests with hair down to your kneecaps. (That said, I still have serious hair envy when it comes to the elves in the PJ films...)
