So, here's the email I got from Amazon today, and my reply to it. Feeling a little depressed right now as I'm starting to doubt I'll get to publish the book on Amazon at all.
If any of you know what I'm missing, or a way I can further prove that I am the original author of this book, I'd be happy to hear it. Otherwise, I'm plum out of ideas. sigh

2024-12-06 04:49:54 +0000 UTCI'm not sure what policies or algorithms that Amazon uses to try and avoid breaking copyright laws, but if they're main concern is with plagiarism, then you should be able to prove that the work is yours by providing the info on first web publication which in the US serves as proof of original copyright. For example, if you can provide a URL for earliest online print of the very first chapter of the story and show that it was posted by an account linked to your personal info, then any copyright lawyer should be able to show in a court of law that this work is legally your intellectual property.

So you might need to add to your title so give book one I seperate title as well say "The Village, book one of The Sixth School Saga." Similar to what GRRM did with the Song of Ice and Fire series
