The children of one of my university professors wrote and performed their own two-part stage performance of the Children of Hurin. It was very faithful as regards the many details of the narrative, and therefore I'm sure VERY confusing to anyone who had never read the text. Mim was played by an adorable small child in a cloak and false beard, and the most memorable part of his performance was a very vehemently piped "It WILL bite again!" before exiting the stage.
