Grumpy Mim at Tolkien Tage
Added 2016-05-21 18:54:00 +0000 UTCHad a great first day at Tolkien Tage, a Tolkien fair/con/thing in Western Germany. Saw almost nothing of the kids until the evening, and then had to look twice as they were so dirty. Had a great day, finished Mim, drew a Beltane earth dragon and started a Star Wars/conceptarty sketch, which I have yet to scan!

It's a myth my mother told me which, unfortunately, the Internet knows nothing about so it's probably not a known myth at all, but it says that, all through the winter, the earth dragon sleeps until it is woken by the Beltane festival as May arrives.
