Several months ago, I had to hand in my laptop for repairing. Not for the first time and normally the IT staff can't remember anyone or one's pc as there are so many customers. They always have to check their notes to be able to tell you what they did with your pc. But when I went there the first thing they said was that they were able to restore everything - but alas not that awesome wallpaper. :p They couldn't remember any technical details, but they didn't forget this awesome painting of yours. :D
