2017-11-14 11:36:17 +0000 UTCI remember coming across an Edgar Allan Poe quotation sometime around my second semester: “The death of a beautiful woman is, unquestionably, the most poetical topic in the world.” I had no problem seeing that, for a female viewpoint, it worked the other way round as well, and that's true for many great scenes in art, and that the suffering of a beautiful man was no less touching (think of all those pietás)!
